The Evil Case of Missing Micaela Hunter | Taken for 22 months | You will never guess why
Hello Everyone,
When a couple delivered their first child on the 3rd of May 1994, they could have no idea that within hours a nightmare would begin that lasted 22 months. A woman had stolen their baby and then seemingly disappeared into thin air.

Brilliantly done. I really enjoy the longer South African cases the most.

Cant believe it is almost 30yrs ago, remember this sad story as though it happened yesterday, especially Bruce's hearfelt plea to the kidnapper to return M. Hope they as a family managed to overcome this trauma.

Hi Nicole I am a law graduate from uwc. I am currently doing my masters and I like criminal law cases. I liked the way you explained the Baby Jordans case. I just wanted to ask you with my utmost respect to make a video of the S v Makwanyane case

I was not sad their doors closed for good. In 1990 I gave birth to my first son at Marymount and had a nasty experience, which still gives me chills when I think about it.

I read a book about this and I wanted to cry for baby Micaela who didn't settle at first as she was with "strangers". The poor child and then her real parents suffered terribly

I think the entre mess means one thing: Toss Sonya in the lockup and throw away the key n a black hole . To put the family through this is truly demented!

This is a case that I would always remember. My youngest was only 3 years old then. I remember Alison and Bruce vividly as they pleaded for her return. We prayed for her safe return too. I am sure we all want to know how she is today. All I know is that her parents divorced later. Her little brother then was just shy of a couple of months when she was returned to her family. If I remember correctly they named him Daniel but I could be wrong.

Her parents are not divorced. Family all fine. This video has a lot of untruths though and poor in my opinion. The support from the public was fantastic and much appreciated.

@@BruceHunter-vc9dt I am so, so happy to hear this! Trauma often bring couples closer and to go through such a horrific experience is unthinkable. I could never phantom how the abductor could be so cold and heartless knowing how broken the parents are. You say the video have a lot of untruths - how about you set the record straight? Blessings

Last I heard they moved away to Bloemfontein, living on a small holding. The constant pressure and interest from everyone was just too much. They needed to get their lives back on track. From the start I said I have a feeling that baby is right under our noses.

Sad case. Wonder why Sonja wasnt able to fall pregnant with Charlie's baby? Hopefully all the children affected in both households were able to live happy, healthy, fulfilling lives. Such an ordeal for Micaela birth parents. Poor Charlie - what a horrible experience. Did he definately go through with adopting Sonja children?

I personally prefer longer videos with more detail, but I understand that some people prefer shorter ones. There are so many good crime channels. When I want shorter ones I go to channels that do those, and when I want to enjoy a longer one, then I watch those channels. I think there is a place for both.

I reckon you may just be human and that youre keen on finding out how the story ends. I also get like that on certain cases. Then ill just skip to the end coz I cant hold it any longer. But often immediately thereafter Ill rewatch the first bit gain. Im no GenZ-Labeller, but you may be ADHD, as to where your brain works in some ways much faster than your eyes for instance.(Or any of your motor neurons for that matter). But u need to remember that most things in life works this way, I get irritated even when im standing at my banks ATM to withdraw money. And even thinking bout all that right now is making me feel annoyed, lol. All those bleh, blah-blah step by step; "In what language would you like to withdraw your money?", "Are you sure you want to draw the money?" But with saying that, I realize that its the whole story running up to the end that often makes the story all that it is. (Theres that movie with Zac Effron and its about DJ Music Artists, (I cant seem to recall the name now,) but if you havent watched it, then you should. They tell and teach of how: "Its the moment before it starts,...thats of most importance." hearts to you, and peace and love(since theres no such thing as freedom ) xxx I watch a crap load of True Crime night and day, and this channel is indeed on my top of the list of channels that I refer to form my crime passion.
