Hey Oregon! I have a Marshall 100 watt Plexi Superlead and I LOVE the smell! Every time I hit the on switch and it warms up the nice roasting wood smell sounds sooooo good! It is like a drug ritual or something for an addict. I don't do drugs but definitely get the addicted feeling and rituals mentally making you get that feeling of oh yeah here comes something good! That is the feeling I get with my tube Marshall. It is the tubes and transformer making the heat but the wooden shell is making most of the smell. It is so neat and overlooked! Just figured you would appreciate since you are a wood guy.

Beautifull vid and explanations of all sorts of things. But the love of god if you spray in your workshop please cover most of the things! You'll regret not doing so and you'll never recover fully your precious tools and handtools. I use old bedsheets :)

If you were new to wood bending and had a decent bankroll, what would you recommend as far as a vacuum bag setup?

I use a vacupress and love it! The 300 that I use will clear a 4x8 bag. Bigger will do it quicker, but I’ve found a dust extractor does the bulk of the work effectively. If you’re bending, skip vinyl and go straight to poly. It’s a dream.

Clamp. If you need to glue together two pieces of wood who's widths happen to total to just over the space between the legs, you can apply glue between them and wedge them in the gap and call it a day

loved the building result and the end result, the constant talking nonsense not so much that was like nails poking holes in my brain. Well, Sony doesn’t actually record raw. Its h.264 at 100mb/s at 10-bit 4:2:2 in slog3/sgamut3cine, so at 30fps, about twice the data and the slowmo is 60/120 or 4x/8x the data (about twice the color gamut) as the deliverable. I’m about to need an expansion on my 64TB NAS of project archives. Lots of footage!

@@SawyerDesign I’ll be honest, a lot of that goes over my head. I’m more into photography than video. But does your Sony send RAW out through the HDMI port, that you can then record externally? I think my Fuji does that, but I have no way or reason to test it :p Anyway, the footage looked nice and the Stûl turned out great!
