Not only is this humidor possibly the finest woodworking project I've seen on KZbin, but the composition of this video amplifies it. If there are awards to be won for KZbin videos, this one deserves it. The fact that you not only put on a masterclass of woodworking and design, but also shoot and edit it to perfection is impressive. I can further appreciate the time it takes to complete a project, balancing family and work life among other things. This is my first time stumbling upon your channel, and you have earned a subscription. It's a joy to watch you work, and the distance between videos just makes each one count that much more. one of the best woodworking videos i’ve ever seen. You know how watching certain smokers makes you want to smoke? Like Sean Penn makes me miss cigarettes. you can tell he loves it. snoop loves the way a blunt tastes. Mike Tyson smoking a joint… Watching you make this was like that. The attention to detail, exact measurements, the tactile appreciation of the piece. the sounds…dammit. all of it is so well done. Makes me wanna.

This is the third or fourth time I've watched this hypnotic video and each time I expect to feel like: "Okay, been there, done that, I'm bored now." But strangely, the exact opposite happens. I am more and more 'shaken' for lack of a better word - every time. I just started my woodworking journey and I am 74 now, have no formal training and father time is not on my side. But that doesn't matter. What really matters is that creators like you and others (Sam Maloof comes to mind) have blessed me and many others I'm sure, with the sacred gift of inspiration. That's good enough for me. Thank you Blake.♥By the way, as a professional composer I found the music you used to be magical as the backdrop for this video. So, the time and effort you put into sound design was a brilliant investment. A few moments ago I purchased the same router bit you used so I can "borrow' your technique for creating that lovely diamond texture. It will be used on a mallet I was commissioned to build. Again, thank you!

The jig for creating the texture and the way you created the overlap for the lid, mind blown! Easily the best woodworking content I’ve seen on YT. The pieces you make are just magnificently detailed, and the production level is pro level. The music choices, the amount and type of narration- all just perfect! I also love that you never tout for subscriptions - so naturally I subscribed 😊 Would be amazing to see a collaboration between you and Kyle Royer. He’s a Damascus knife maker whose meticulous attention to detail is on the same level to yours. A blade made by him and a display cabinet made by you - that would be legendary

We all clearly unanimously agree this is art! Both the humidor _(I had to look it up, no clue what it was, but who cares!
