6:09 "The leftover stock" is probably just ex-German soldiers selling them, as German soldiers keep their shoes after their service. They still get exactly the same as shown in the video (for indoor sports for outdoor sports they get some black puma shoes). I still have my pair lying around at home but never use them because I find them uncomfortable as hell because they aren't very flexible. You just feel that they are old. Most soldiers who have the choice just use their private shoes.

A friend of mine did own a pair of the German army trainers. From what I remember you can even use them for skating. Here in Germany you can find them at almost every thrift store more a good price. ( If you like the shark detail of the aj5 maybe the bape sharkstas are also something for you 😂)

An interesting factoid on how the military influenced sneaker culture. I recall, back in the day, New Balance and Saucony were two of, if not, the only running shoe brands available on U.S. Army base PXs. But the military began pushing all footwear available for military use be U.S. Made. Good for New Balance, bad for modern Saucony… and thanks to O-44 for signing this into law. I still rock Saucony too though. It’s crazy when we consider how big NBMiUSA is today. It’s quite possible these kicks would all be made outside the U.S. had that President not signed and the Maine delégate not backed him. ✌🏽💙👟

Can you try and do a video about liverpool in England. If you look into how different footwear and clothing has been worn by liverpool drug dealers over the years. Guaranteed that the clothes and footwear worn by liverpool drug dealers always filters down to the whole city then starting to wear the same shoes and clothes. Then gradually the rest of the UK starts following suit and start to wear the footwear and clothes that the liverpool people have been rocking for a while. Then unfortunately they start to match these styles up but often fail dramatically.
