I mean if someone wants to play MK4 for the first time, they'd never guess that the Grey Jackass on top of the "select screen" is actually the Boss of the game. They didn't even make him unlockable or anything, he's just there from the very beginning. Not to mention that he's extremely easy to beat in MK4.

Shinnok did at least get his ass kicked by Raiden, then Liu Kang, then Cassie Cage, no biggie......i mean after all those ass kicking times, his face was stilk thick enough to show up.....you gotta give it to him, the #1 boss who has the thickest face in the MK universe..... Of course, he is nowhere near me, i managed to defeat my nemesis Liu Kang with the help of Quan Chi, the one who also lied to Shinnok and was to able to fool Shinnok in that long time.... And it was not like Shinnok got stuck below the pyramid...he did manage to reach the top of the pyramid...oh wait, that was me, Shang Tsung too. Well i guess, Shinnok didn't "suck" that much 😆😃

I use to play Mk4 a lot as a child, I loved it.. I actually STILL have the game in HALF of its actual case to this day AND it works. I can play it on my PS3 ! I also still have Mortal Kombat Mythologies Sub Zero on PS1 as well as MK4, also in half of its actual case and I can also play it on my PS3 as well! I've been playing Mortal Kombat dating all the way back to the sega genesis games era. My first Mortal Kombat I know I can remember playing ever, my first one... it was something in between MK1, MK2, MK3, or UMK3.. one of those four, but don't get me wrong.. when I was just 2 or 3 years old at that time, between the years of my birth 1993 to 1996, we had all the cartridges of every Mortal Kombat game, including a lot of other games like Sonic, Beetlejuice, Street Fighter, many others. I was alternating a lot especially between MK1 and MK2.. Now I think about it, MK1( since we already had when I came around) and MK2 were the two games I remember playing all the time.. Then I remember MK3 CAME along a LITTLE time after.. but those 4 main games.. I think I still got my old Sega genesis and a few cartridges, (MKs included).. But I don't think they work anymore sadly... But I am proud of the evolution Mortal Kombat has experienced. I'm a super proud Mortal Kombat fan and feel no new age resenment towards new gen mortal kombats of the 7th or 8th or beyond generation of consoles... Lol Shinnok wasn’t a real boss, it felt just like a normal fight with the only difference that you have to fight him three times instead of two. Shao Kahn is cheap but even his boss fight in MK9 was much better than this no brainer.
