But those are just extended versions of games already covered with the same sub-boss. Therefore the need to cover them is unnecessary. Although you did miss Darkseid in MK vs DC Universe.

MK2 Kintaro is the hardest sub boss out of all MK's. MK3(UMK3,T) Motaro is the most annoying with that fireball spam, teleport, grab and punch.

Motaro is the easiest sub boss of the bunch in the arcade version, I recommend Scorpion or Human Smoke for Motaro and Sharp Kahn for UMK3. All you do for Motaro is wait for him to come to you, do a jumping high punch, then start your combo.

It's both. After you beat normal Shinnok, you get a 1-round fight against Corrupted Shinnok which is separated from the normal Shinnok fight. So MKX has 2 sub-bosses that you need to beat back-to-back, both Goro and normal Shinnok.

Shang tsung was kind a sub boss in mk9 since you always have to fight him before goro or kintaro and he has the ability to transformed into anyone at will which isnt normal for him in that particular game and Darkside in MK vs DC counts too imo

@D P I could only beat him with pure luck back in the day, using Baraka's blade fury as he begins his teleport stomp tends to work wonders, but precision timing is required.

@D P It will, provided that it's used carefully. I wouldn't try it when he's walking toward you though. He'll grab you or nail you with a fireball, but sometimes he'll eat the blade fury. It's also a good idea to try jump kicks whenever he does the short jumps. He's also slightly vulnerable whenever he taunts, but your counterattack will need to be immediate or you'll eat a throw, a fireball, or anything else the beast decides to throw at you.

The most hardcore sub boss is Kintaro MK2 from Snes,in arcade players use timing jump kick to beat him,but in snes these timing kick dont work,instead he block all attacks and grab you to the other side

First Goro still the best. Something never seen before in a fighting game, he jumps out from nowhere close to you starting to attack and to scream like a beast. Nowadays he is just a speaking big weird character with four arms. Same for Scorpion, the first one was very creepy, a silent killer ninja screaming only with the spear and looking at you without any sense of humanity. A true creature from hell only obsessed in killing his rival. Now it is more the time he is deluded or with the sad face or speaking normally.. just a good ninja with blanket eyes and not an hell ghost anymore.

@@DrFrag-un1db No, in the Arcade mode Klassic Tower, Goro could've only appear right before normal Shinnok. MKX had both Goro and Normal Shinnok as it's sub-bosses, and that's not something new in fighting games, including MK, for example in MK2, both Shang Tsung and Kintaro were always right before Shao Kahn, first Shang Tsung and then Kintaro. So actually, not only Goro needs to be added to MKX, but Shang Tsung also needs to be added to MK2, and also MK9, since he was always right before the fight against either Goro or Kintaro.
