Set 7.5 Dragonmancer Nunu was one of my least favorite metas of all time. It was crazy how many people in each lobby were forcing that comp that patch....

And also the soft gaslighting from the devs trying to convince us that it wasn't "that bad" because the nunu stats said the strat wasn't that great. Most of the reason it even stuck around for so long was because it got continually dragged out through the set with little slap on the wrist nerfs.

Set 8 had the best 5-cost-units in my opinion. Morderkaiser, Leona, Fiddlestick, Nunu, Urgot, Janna,... You don't need to care about synergy or item just put them in and they will do their job.

Usually when I think of a god-like TFT unit I think of A-Sol, he was always a 4 cost or legendary and besides pre-buff 10 cost asol he was never weak, at most the mildest A-Sol I gotta say is the Threat one also did you notice TFT had access to reworked Asol's abilities and used them before league did?

I remember both set 5 with renewers and set 7 with Dragonmancers. Both were broken as fuck, is hitting it meant top 3 100% and top 1 if your opponents didn't have a high cost table. It just felt really stupid how a 10K hp "tank" dealt 4K true damage per cast and healing like 1200 of that damage. Back on those days Giant slayer and anti heal was technically a must and slamming them in early didn't look like a bad idea.
