His writings sound so much like Sadhguru. _”When someone else can make you happy or unhappy, is it not the worst kind of slavery. To know that the source of all human experience is within is liberation.”_ ~Sadhguru This means that we (applies to adults only), our inner selves should be in control of our bodies & minds, as all emotions & thoughts come from the inside, not from anyone or anything on the outside, no matter how bad or good it is, how we are, how we behave is up to us, not others. And knowing this (that we have an inner self separate from social identities and separate from our bodies like our race, gender, looks, finances, religion, family, titles, job, etc) is liberating.

Why not children? Learning no one can control your emotions and that you are you are completely your own person is one of the most important things ever. This is something you need to learn EARLY.
@SydMountaineer16 күн бұрын
@@JamesBond-xx1lvDue to children not having “barriers” in their brains for learning purposes, they absorb everything they’re told & witness, including how they’re treated, so we can’t hold children responsible for emotions & behavior they have when they’re abused or taught the wrong things by adults. These “barriers” only start to begin forming by about age 8 to 11, and by the age of 20 to 23, they should be fully formed, by then adults are fully able to challenge what they’re told/ witness.

One thing I learned from dance class as a kid was it takes a lot of work to make something look easy - this was mostly about leaping and how you have to practice a ton and have a lot of strength and concentration to get the lift and lines so in the end its a ton of work but then you have to make it look easy - soft hands, graceful face etc... and I've always seen that as a way to explain most things like to be confident you need to be prepared and you can move slowly if you're early etc. so it's like a mix of hard work and being prepared and then you make it look easy and part of that is also if you're working with someone or helping them out you don't want them to feel like its a burden so in a way part of having good intentions is giving the gifts you choose to give and not making someone feel like they owe you and then you have confidence from being decisive and trying to be a good person.

Chase deliberately sits in the sofa with arms spread out and in good posture (ears over heart, and heart over pelvis)--exhibit high level of confidence/authority. Then the slow and clear speech to be "in control" instead of acting fast---showing fear. All my life I have always talk fast and move fast (yes I even run at home to get from point A to point B). I realized I am a fearful person (fear of being judged, fear of failure, fear of making the wrong decisions, fear of taking risks). So I am going to try to slow it down and see if I can think more clearly. Btw, the background music is outstanding especially towards the end 10:48.

Thank you for this chase. I read about the Alexander technique years ago and l think thats a simple version of what you are describing here. You take it much further. Alexander said there was only two people he had observed that did it naturally; Muhammad Ali and Bruce Lee. That they carried themselves with a natural authority and could move their body into whatever was required in any given moment, faster than their own conscious thoughts and therefore also faster than their opponents. I am so grateful for what you are teaching us 😊🥰
