In 1840, Gottliebin Dittus moved into a small apartment in Möttlingen, Germany. What followed has been described as the most extreme, most gruesome, and most chilling demonic possession in all history. Mysterious happenings, apparitions, black magic, and horrific physical phenomena of the worst variety, it led to the involvement of Johann Christoph Blumhardt, a Lutheran pastor who not merely documented the case, but performed an exorcism on Gottliebin. As an agnostic myself, I didn't take his comment as that of someone "not believing in God" (which is actually one of the main characteristics of an atheist). An agnostic on the other hand, is rather someone who accepts not only the idea of "not knowing wether to believe in God or not" but also not WANTING to choose between believing or not OR, in other words, that "if neither it's existance or inexistance can be proven, why bother believing or disbelieving". As opposed to the point of view of a christian or an atheist, an agnostic doesn't think that there's a necessity in the choice of believing or disbelieving. It's more of a "humble" attitude towards the question of God or religious faith in general. And it's not necessarily opposed to Science either... Einstein was an agnostic, that didn't make him less of a scientific. So, anyway... Being agnostic has more to do with how we choose to live our lives than if we can be scared by an exorcism. Fear is a feeling... Even an atheist can feel it (before he or she starts "looking for rational explanations").

That was far more horrifying than any film I’ve ever seen or any event of such nature I’ve ever heard. I truly couldn’t be happier for that poor girl who apparently had been “sold” to satan by her cousin, if that indeed was true. The depth of that possession I think from what I’ve heard about others, was very likely strengthened by the families terrible situation in life, and their struggle to simply stay alive. It’s said that when you’re down is when they come kicking, and it’s easier to take possession of a soul who’s nearly given up the fight. It’s a miracle that Blumhouse did evoke Jesus as the strength of her fight, as it, or he, was clearly the only way to win. And any Christian will back that up and most definitely agree that to actually fight off demonic activity you must have faith in Jesus. And aside from that great strength and the amount of time she suffered, it’s truly an incredible Miracle that she finally did emerge and didn’t perish under such forces. God blessed her and used the greatest weapon known to man to save her life. And Lady Laura thank you for bringing this to us, I haven’t ever heard this story, and as it’s quite dramatic I’m very shocked it’s not as well known. Again thanks for putting your time and effort into increasing our knowledge of such events, and I always appreciate a notification from your channel! 🙏

So you are soooooooooooo very mistaken. I was nothing BUT raised in a beautiful amazing home....And our ENTIRE lives we were toremented even being VERY devote Christians! This is one of the most bizarre and amazing cases of paranormal activity I've ever heard. The implications of something like this truly happening are just insane. Like, the noises, strange lights, evidence of black magic, mysterious injuries and foreign objects being vomited???? How did all these things happen?? Even if this is entirely a paranormal phenomenon, there's still has to be a way to describe how these things actually occurred. I mean, how did all the nails and large objects she vomited appeared in her stomach in the first place??? Did they just materialize there? Were they "teleported" there?? And what about the living animals??? How did they got there and how could they stay alive??? I'm sorry I'm just in shock. I am by no means a medical expert, however this sounds like she was suffering from the symptoms of Rabies. The foaming of the mouth, the unbridled rage and attempts to harm, and the seemingly seizure-like body movements when she was having her fits. Regardless of the reason, this is certainly a horrible thing to happen to a person.

Considering the time period and what you said about the state of the building. I wouldn't be surprised if it was full of asbestos, black mold, lead paint and rat poop in the walls. As for the things they found, I know a thing or 2 about these things and what they're made of. I wouldn't be surprised if they had spoiled ingredients in them or also moldy. All though, the items could very well be coincidence and most of the time those things are purposely placed in the areas they was placed in for protection. With that being said, OF COURSE BURNING THEM WOULD MAKE IT WORSE! Lol But, I feel like my prior theory would be closer to the cause of the problems. I can tell you from experience black mold will make you tripp out, and trigger any underlying medical condition. I have absence seizures, they're very mild, but in the instance where I was exposed to high levels of black mold it got really bad. EDIT: I almost forgot to add something on the idea of seizures. She said she saw something floating before her eyes before a fit. That definitely sounds like epilepsy and so does the foaming at the mouth part. Back then they didn't really know much about these things.

This is a fairly typical case, including ego investment in the 'possession' narrative. There is also a strong suggestion that her early trauma and some 'disorders' ushered this in. It's strange that with a doctor present, no one tried to relieve her physical symptoms; alcohol, opium and other sedating drugs were available at this time. 'Possession' was a form of mental illness that went out of fashion when people became less religious. As a psychological situation, this is fascinating because it was eventually resolved or cured. Genetic damage can result as a catalyst for infestation no matter the persona. The dead, living or each are not food, drink or shelter just as dairy milk or egg of another species is not. Just as children are meant for children in every way & even among them some are not peers due to their stage of development AS a child. Just as adults are meant for adults in every way though are peers universally. Law or no law. 🌉

They don't! Just try and tell your clergyperson that strange things are happening and watch how fast they dismiss it and you!!! Are they not there to help people against dark negative forces that we can not see? Are they not trained about these beings existence and how to find out for sure and rid the person or persons affected by such beings? If you're not willing or too scared to go up against these dark forces to help your community, then you should pick a different profession! Because people accosted by them seriously need your help! And NO it is not always a case of a mental illness, in your training you should remember them being tricksters right? What better way to hide than in plain sight by making everyone think they are only dealing with someone with a mental issue.

I just saw on KZbin another paranormal story of where the Navaho indian reservation where in the house they would hear and see coins drop out of nowhere and always land heads up. There were a total of 52 coins. It was in Arizona USA.

If this stuff was real then why hasnt it been happening more and more and becoming more well known if their are so many demons out there?

I suspect we just don't notice it, so we don't attempt to cast them out and therefore the demons do not have to become as "animated". There is no shortage of people who have a very dark energy to them, but we chalk it up to their personality. Unusual behavioral conditions are considered psychiatric in nature and are numbed out with drugs. When demons can wreck people's lives without being noticed, there's no need for them to leave you with claw marks in the night or knock pictures off the wall. Perhaps they've gotten more clever over the years.
