Everything about Bobby Draper is beautiful. Looks, patriotism, strength and her moral compass. I thought for sure that she was looking for any reason to start a war with Earth. When she hooked up with Avasarala it was such a great experience for me. It’s obviously a TV show and I haven’t read the books so I haven’t been pre-informed so I have to go by what’s portrayed in the TV show. The way they insert Martians that share both disgust for earth but then also have the ability to see things clearly is what makes the show so enjoyable. Lopez is one of my favorite characters even though he wasn’t around long. When he was able to see through his pre-programming Martian heritage is relatable to the world we live in. Prejudice’s are sometimes are taught to people starting at a very young age. These people can and do overcome these prejudices. I was so disappointed when Lopez died. I thought he was going to survive. I can see now that that wouldn’t have made sense to the story now but him and Bobby share that mentality. They want to hate but they can’t get past their on morality.

Ah yes, the cellophane magic that stuff is filmed on nowadays! Just like the silver plates we get the frames on, mighty expensive.Or, y'know...hard drive space.

Not everyone uses film to shoot. This isn't a production with someone like say, Christopher Nolan, who does like to use actual film. This is a TV show, where... you know. They're using Digital Cameras? Also, iteration is key. Having a little fun with your character and taking a step back can be good for the process. Most of the time, you don't get a perfect take in one shot, and occasionally the takes that aren't as serious are the ones that get used in the final cut. Also, this is a 4 minute blooper reel. Hours upon hours upon hours of shooting, and you come to the conclusion from 4 minutes that these actors are unprofessional and unprepared? Give me a break.
