Having recently binged the old ones of these, I think the Scavenger Hunt races are my second favorite things on the channel behind Survive the Hunt! Always glad to see a new one!

I enjoy the Winter themed Survive the Descent most, but those aren't a regular monthly feature. IMO, I don't consider Scavenger Hunt nearly on the same level as STH. Not a fan of catch-up & slipstream being on, despite being well aware of why they are used by the Failrace crew.

@@salamov963 To us normal folk yes, that'd work since we don't care about relevance but he can't just stop since it'll have a ripple on effect to his viewer count. I am surprised though that he doesn't have like a backlog of random crap he has played and recorded for moments like this, I know a lot of youtubers have backup stuff incase of issues just so they can keep videos going out.

Curse of the commentator. Race 1 "unless a car phases out of a wall" and bang a car appears. Race 2 "unless traffic at the changeover gets crazy" and bang, bang, explosions everywhere.

18:01 you know, the car you drove before was actually the exemplar! So you could've technically still used the rapid gt here as well.

Always enjoy the chaos of scavenger races, even more so with the explosion mechanic! (It’s like the old FR video crashing the train and causes chain explosions!)

Why can chain reaction of cars just cause explosions in real life? Seeing cars exploding in games makes me wish that all cars could explode that easily in real life.

Hi I have been watching these type of videos for a while now and I was thinking about what you could do next if it is possible you could do like a gravity defying hunt on a created track from one or all of your team.

This was undoubtedly a recording that was rescued and converted, which is why is sounds/looks poorer than normal

@@longbowxmkii Sounds and looks normal to me. Went forward in the video to check if the sound would still be poor (which it was) and when I went back to the start of the video it was 100% normal.

Glisor definitely deserved the win in that one. Far more competent at changing over in those last two laps than anyone else within shouting distance of the front. Alex went from a fifteen second lead with two laps to go to losing by 10 seconds, most of that down to poor changeovers.
