Jeff is a treasure. Listening to him talking about his wife, Tammy, with the hotdogs. Reminds me of my friend, Landy, who's 60 now, but as a 7 year old was told by his older brother of 3 years, Tony, that mayonnaise was made from the whites of human eyes after people die. To this day, Landy doesn't eat mayonnaise 🤣

NHS (Socialist medicine) doesn't work. I remember long lines, long waits, foreign workers I couldn't understand, drs.and nurses who stared coldly at my cross necklace, and receptionists who charged $80 for a co-pay even though the Latino family got their care free-no charge-and this was in America. It's worse in the UK. Old citizens are denied treatment and are told to set up a GoFundMe or go to Turkey for a surgery instead (where some have died there) while immigrants from God only knows where get treated free of charge. In Canada, a long wait for a mammogram-the actress was 27 and was told she couldn't have one til she was 40-could have cost her her life had she not come to the USA and had it done here.

He didn't say Medicaid, he said Medicare. Required in this country when you turn 65 whether you want it or not.

Why would he say Medicaid, thats for people on welfare. Medicare Part A (hospital) is free at 65 but since you don’t get S.S. until 67 now, most people wait until then to get Part B it because it cost your over $150 per month once you start up and as long as you have credible insurance at work, no you don’t have to sign up at 65. He said he pays $12 per month so he’s must be on the Advantage plan but usually thats free! The part Part B comes out of your S.S. check.

If you've the finances for illness, you don't have to sign for Medicare. I've cousins that didn't and won't. Got it like that.

@@pbc78-p7u If we all thought we wouldn’t have health problems, then who wouldn’t skip it if you got finances where you don’t even how much you got! But part of the problem solved by signing up for Medicare, Original or Advantage is you get the price of treatment at their negotiated price. Look at providers statement of claims of someone you know on Medicare and see what they charge and how much is taken off my Medicaid. Sometimes hospital stays are the price of your home! I’ve heard of cases where the hospital has put leans on peoples property. If I would stay healthy, I could handle it myself. But since i have enough finances where i can afford the best supplemental plans and Part D, I have limited my total exposure to under $15k per year which i could handle. I would take that since I don’t have a crystal ball!

That's ok. I wondered if Robert Culp and Stephen Culp were related too as well as Clancy Brown and Robert Brown. All I had to do was look them up and there was no relation (though the Culps did have a resemblance to each other somewhat. Robert was in "I Spy" and Stephen was a MACO in the Xindi episodes on "Enterprise").
