Hashtag United are a one-of-a-kind football and esports club, based in Essex, England. Formed in 2016 by Spencer Owen as a group of mates playing exhibition games, we now play in the 7th tier of English football, the Isthmian League Premier Division. We won our league in our first season in non-league football and were looking good for a second promotion when the 2019/20 season was voided, but after the 2020/21 season went the same way with us top of the Essex Senior League, we were eventually awarded promotion based on PPG over the two part seasons. In 2023 we won the Isthmian League North and will now play in the Isthmian Premier!
We merged with AFC Basildon Women in summer 2020 and formed our women's team, Hashtag United FC Women, who play in the 3rd tier of women's football, the FA Women's National League Southern Premier Division, after they also won their league in 2023. We also now have 40+ youth teams, reserve and development teams, an inclusive team and a walking football team...plus our esports team who play FIFA at the world's highest level. So he gets to leave when he needs to, make a bunch of cash doing it, and play regularly because his level is strong for the league he's in.

Misha challenging for everything like his life depends to see is great to see. Going to learn so much playing up front by the end of the season. There isn't any "precedent" the ref should always stop play and if refs arent then they are taking players livelihoods and health into their own hands for some non league football which is insane

@@thowland89 there's no actual history with hashtag, there's no deep ties built around a local community. Also people feel "why go to a game when I can watch it online" which is why uefa added the 3pm Saturday game can't be livestream we and broadcasted

@@BuckledFrame2187 yes I agree. I think their attendance issue is a little more complicated in that if 10% of the KZbinr viewers live within an hour from their ground. Most of that 10% are either kids or young teenagers. So they don’t have the means to travel to games on a regular basis. In order for Hashtag to grow their attendance they will have to either move to a permanent location and have their own ground. And/or hope that the young teens/kids grow with the club and start actually attending games when they become adults.
