alex andru weightlifters do cardio, just like any accessory exercise. you can't do fast 3 reps heavy clean without a good cardio. competetive weightlifters run at least 30 minutes in the morning everyday. that's the minimum. a lot of weightlifters also do gymnastics. and all of competetive weightlifters that I knew also do combat sports, boxing, judo. weightlifters are not only excellent in sprinting and vertical jump, for they can also participate in long distance running.

Anabolic Horse lost so much energy and time on those pull ups. He obviously has the strength, but in my opinion he should talk to Romano, and learn to plan a bit smarter, at least when facing such a fierce opponent. And finally, how close together were each of their preliminaries? If Faceless is an athlete, he knows the value of holding back in the prelims and waiting to peak against the best competition. Perhaps being in first was the AH biggest mistake. One cycle of training and planning would make this a much closer match.

Powerlifting/Strongman training is really efficient for getting strong quickly. If you have time and like to push your limits every session, you could try the "powerlifting To win" program. Or if youre more of the patient and busy type, Jonnie candito linear program. Both are completely free, and the two guys who designed them have plenty of explicative videos to help beginners out.

Raw Strenght won't help much here, strenght wars is not a strongman competition, it's a mix of more disciplines, Patrick Baboumian is the example of this, he might be the strongest, but he can't keep up if there's a calistenics exercise. So in conclution the Faceless is Jack of all trades, he is strong on every exercise, and has a lot of stamina.
