WOW!!! I think I heard about 4 genre's mixed into this song!!! Black Metal, Technical Death Metal, Death Core and Melodic Death Metal. This is one of the first The Faceless songs i've heard since looking for another band like Necrophagist and i'm extremely impressed.

Word dude, I understand where you're coming from, but don't put words into my mouth. I agree 100% that Necrophagist as a band doesn't show much emotion. What I was getting at was a specific solo I really enjoy (Fermented Offal Discharge) definitely does, and that's what I thoroughly enjoy about it. You're right, I'm sure you've been to more DM shows than I have and you've been listening for much longer. Awesome. Nothing I can really do about that, mmk?

@moseseseseses This band is amazing. Here's a small history lesson on their lead guitarist: His mother was a singer, father was a guitar engineer, and he grew up playing guitar since the age of 5. The band as a whole became famous with their first album Akeldama, with only about 2 years of being a band. That first album of theirs is already an huge influence to many other metal bands. They are not satanic. This song is about an Anti-Christ and how people will be deceived by it. Open your mind.

With metal, I started listening like 5 years ago. It started as hard-rock, then I liked some metalcore band. Then found more metalcore I liked. I then found a deathcore band I like, then a couple more deathcore bands. Then came techdeath, The Faceless was that pioneer first band that I liked first for techdeath. So fucking good.

aboslutely love the progresive part of this song. alot of people just think they're stuper technical, but they actually know how to groove too outside of rock music. fucking phemominal band. on a side note you can defenitely hear some changes they made since the CD version.

This is the same vocalist as their studio vocalist, and he's actually quite good. You might not enjoy his style but he has great power/range. If you're wondering why he's just screaming random nonsense, this was obviously before there were lyrics written for this song.

The Faceless definitely stands out among deathcore. They're not pretty-boy scene fucks like BMTH and they actually have some song structure and AREN'T boring unlike Despised Icon... hail The Faceless!

I wouldn't say there's no more breakdowns in Planetary Duality, I would just say A LOT less. And It's funny, I'm totally into Deathcore and stuff, and the only songs i knew by The Faceless were "An Autopsy" and "Pestilence" (like a year ago) and I heard "Ancient Cover" the demo version, and I was hooked, and I loved PD, then I listened to Akeldama. But I never see people with The Faceless shirts on, only me.
