I had a 85 and a 86 CR 125. (Not at the same time) Loved the 86. Years later I got my hands on a 85 CR 500. My All time favorite bike

before "one piece", the nitrogen piston assembly was mounted on the frame with a high pressure hose connecting it to the shock. this slows the gas pressure's control over the oil compared to the piggy back design, which is standard today. in short, there was less chance of the oil aerating and Johnny getting shock fade that day. i'd say he needed it. he was flying!

a 125 will still go fine with 200 lbs. as long as you're not racing it's fine and a lot of fun.
