I was expecting an even slight mention to the T-43, the tank which most of it's improvements were used to develop the T-34-85. But i guess that's another story as the T-43 cannot be considered a T-34 variant, but a whole new vehicle.

I love the concept of taking old vehicles and trying to make them better. T34 and sherman tanks had lots of post war upgrades done to them. I have seen a t34 with a t54 turret ontop of it with some modification to the hull aswell

The T-34/100 is undoubtedly my most favorite tank in War Thunder, so much so that I grinded it to having an Ace crew after more than a 1000 matches. I absolutely adore it and I would still highly recommend getting one even in today's game. Its just that good.

The T-34-57 failed too. It was too much focused as anti-tank and was unable to properly fight anything else.

And also when its shells penned the crew observed it did very little damage, often taking much more shots to take out one single tank. Of course not like in War Thunder where the 57mm can nuke your tank as hard an an 85mm, good job Gaijin.

A variant of T-34 that is very unknown by the public the the T-34-85 75, designated by the Finnish - Ps. 245-4. The 🇫🇮 experimented with a T-34-85 by changing the cannon with the German Stuk 40/L 48 because of shortages of ammo. When the war ended, the Finnish knew that they will need a much modern tank and they weren't too keen of experimenting. Only 1 tank ever existed and is today displayed in a museum.

The Czech T-34-100, a tank that I have way to much luck with in WoT. I shouldn't survive half the fights I get into with it,but it seems like with the target choice of a T-34-100 or the heavy it's supporting they always shoot the heavy.

The T-34-100 was a fifties project and it was withdrawn from service in the sixties. The Izzy museum mislabeled it as T-100 which is to keep with the naming of a Syrian T-34 variant the T-122. The Egyptian variants were named by the original chassis followed by the new caliber. By the seventies all T-34 were withdrawn from service except for engineering and troop transport variants. The izzies are labeling it 1973 just to mislead the picture of the war, but it was technically impossible (they were not in service by then) and historically impossible (cuz the izzies didn't manage to occupy land in the war but on the contrary lost some; only to lose much more by the cessation of hostilities agreement the separation of forces agreement ending the war with them losing a third of Sinai.

So, I have actually been playing around with the T-34-122 as a concept after seeing the Czech concept of the T-34-100 in WoT and looking up real life T-34-100 to learn of the one the Egyptians made. I had no idea any such vehicle had been made and literally shouted "BRUH! It's REAL!!" so loud I got in trouble for it.

Tier 7 T-34/100 has tier 8 100mm gun in Blitz. Good pen + alpha damage and can fight tier 8 heavies with premium ammo.
