TY. Guessing Italy gave all the good steel armor, and skilled arc welders, to the Navy's surface fleet. OK-good design was indeed cursed by bad logistics. Too bad as I think a welded version would be on par with a Sherman, maybe a Pzkfw IV also..on the Italian front. Many Shermans had accidents on Italian roads, usually rolling down tiny road embankments.....hill country.

I get that fury gets a lot of flak an all that, but it was a fun movie. I don’t understand why anyone would expect some kind historically accurate battles or none Hollywood fights in it when Brad Pitt was the main star. It was awesome seeing tanks rolling around on the big screen again. It’s so rare now. We were giving a fun movie and crap all over it for whatever reason we do. Movie goers are so spoiled now a days. All that being said, I totally love Girls und Panzer. It’s more tanks rolling around doing ridiculous stuff! What’s not to love?
