Disney+ ratings are at rock bottom for shows costing $150-200 million with zero return and Phase 4&5 were utter financial disasters in theaters. X-men & F4 can turn things around if done right, but that’s a big if. They went from printing $ to losing $ in the tens & hundreds of millions. There’s nothing worse for a brand than apathy and that is where they’re currently at. Plus the golden age of the comic books film is over. I’ll be rooting hard for them to turn things around, but it’s trending down and fast. They can turn it around, but it will be scaled back, like they’re planning. No more C & D List characters getting projects anymore, which is for the best. Next few years are crucial.

@@ThePaladinJock I do believe Disney can turn things around but like you said it's going to take time. Guardians of the Galaxy films has proved that even c list characters can work the problem is when it comes to the newer ones in these projects they're not written very well. One of the benefits of using less popular characters is writers can do something different with those characters basically they don't have to be comic books accurate. I am skeptical of how they going to do the X-Men but one idea I think Disney should definitely do is a wolverine versus hulk film

@@animezilla4486 100% Like I said in my video, in the hands of someone like Gunn, they can make anyone work. But they also respected Gunn and he refused any studio notes. Now they’re meddling too much. My friend from college works at Paramount but used to work at Marvel Studios. He said movies are being noted to death by execs and multiple producers. Even Sam Raimi said his hands were tied. They need to get back to getting talented directors and writers and just trusting them. Hulk & Wolverine film is long overdue. They also need someone from the comics side with knowledge the level of Mark Millar to be advising. Once they got rid of all the older comic book writers they had advising, it’s started falling apart. They had the formula down, they just got greedy. Need to reign it back in, hire good people and let them work.
