I'm a horrible person, I won't even go into it. But I've noticed that when I make a little goal, instead of looking at all my sins at once, and trying to stop all at the same time, I focus on a few, until I've made a habit. I am no longer the compulsive liar I once was. I am no longer the word curser, and gossip I once was. I am less selfish, and a better friend, wife, and mother than I once was. Maybe you were taught to take the bible literally, I'm wouldn't know. But, it's ok. Renew your mind and look inward instead of outward, or literal. The Bible is about your mind, your heart, and soul. Matt. 6:22 is where Jesus said "The light of the body is the eye: if. therefore thine eye be single, thy. whole body shall be full of light." If you understand the true meaning of that prayer, it will all make sense. But if you take it literally, you become lost in the wilderness. Most people know the "secret" or silent prayer as meditation. We are little bodies of energy and vibration. We are the Temple of the living God. Our problem is we don't seem to understand that. And lastly, where was Christ crucified? Golgotha. The place of the skull. Look inward. The kingdom is at hand.

She screamed because she finally realized, that she was dealing with King Saul, and she thought, he was going to put her to death, as he would have if he was still being loyal to God. Second, at no time, did this witch say she saw Samuel! Point three, at no time, does scripture ever say, that Saul or his companions saw Samuel! It was only this witch, who said she sees (someone wearing a mantle...only)! Only Saul, said (it must be Samuel)! Given the fact, that Saul is disobeying God's orders, to not inquire of the dead, plus going to a witch in the first place,...the form this witch seen, was likely a demon, pretending to be Saul!

More likely, God had brought Samuel from the dead and allowed him to foretell the deaths of Saul and his sons. Samuel would not have been a demonic spirit for the witch was unfamiliar with this entity when she screamed in terror after seeing the spirit Samuel.

Saul wouldn't listen.. he'd rather listen to what man said rather than God.. and you can't do that and expect God to be with you or bless you, and let's not forget it was God's Spirit that made him into the person he was in the beginning.. 1 Samuel 10:9, even until the day he was brought before The tribe of Benjamin he hid himself from the Lord 1 Samuel 10:21-23, but even after that...God was still willing to work with this one, but what really did him in was when he took upon himself.. listening to the people rather than God to take upon him the duties of the priests and the prophets by building an altar 1 Samuel 13:6-14 he couldn't wait upon the Lord, he took matters into his own hand, and again.. he would drop the ball and disobey God in 1st Samuel 15 concerning the Amalekite and the Kenites by sparing the King..Agag's life and all their spoils, he was given specific instructions to annihilate everything, he spared the king, kept the spoils totally disobeying God's command..15: 5-9 and God will make it very clear that he requires obedience over sacrifices 15:22-23 and pay attention to Samuel's statement and the 23rd verse of that chapter concerning God's feelings for witchcraft which was another sin Saul committed by a consulting one after the death of Samuel.. You can't be doing all this and expect God to bless you, he's not going to, and when God removed his Spirit from Saul it all went downhill from there, I would highly recommend that you read 1 Samuel concerning man's desire for King, when.. this never really was God's desire, his desire and wish.. was to be their King, and he gave them one, told them how and what the king will require of them, how he would tax them, take their sons to war, take their daughters for his own, take their properties for his own.. totally informing them on how it would be to have a mere man.. mortal rule over them, and yet they insist, "what's new under the sun" we are still going through it to this very day, so Saul had ever opportunity to be successful under God's leadership guidance, but he failed.. miserably, so it is with us today when we don't listen to the Lord we put ourselves in a heap of hurt when it could be so much better if we would just obey the Lord and be blessed..
