Little did Dupin know, the mom WAS actually behind him. I almost missed it, but learned my lesson from Hill House to always scan the background 😂 This show is AMAZING! I was an instant fan after this episode, and it just got better and better as it went on

Ugh this series was instantly one of my faves, the fact that there was so much rich social commentary on class and the opioid epidemic and the whole series is a chronology of edger Allen poes work but it never became too much or too crammed. Honestly just beautiful
