She's probably the Orphan Queen. The distant ancestor of Harrow and by extension Ezran. So likely not a grandma. She was revealed first at the 2019 SDDC, there's not much else about her though currently.

A lot of theories are aiming at Aaravos being more of a grey area than pure evil. One of the Star Magic ability is to grant vision of the future, or vision of possibilities, and that Aaravos has access to it, which is why he orchestrated for a lot of things to happen. He’s aiming for a higher goal.

He is literally an angel cast out from heaven, who’s been orchestrating specific events to happen, manipulating people of power to play a game they can’t even fathom. All so that he can achieve his goal… to conquer Xadia (possibly beyond) and exact his revenge on his fellow Star Touched Elves.

Now the last sun queens reaction before death makes sense. She realized how great of a error she made with virren. She saw all humans as being stupid/inferior and of course predictable. @@Ash3sArt I didn' t read books but a lot people seen that series is very good adaptation oryginal book. I saw full 10 episodes and I like it. Especially they have very good scenography, costiums and bearifull music and also actors stayed great pick to character (especially king Viserys I, younger and older Rhaenyra, Criston Cole, Daemon etc.). Just first 8 episodes have big jump tidal (even 10 years) but I understand everything so I think this is not problem unless you very didn' t like jump tidal. Sorry for my englisch but is not my native language

I heard an interesting theory: Aravus turned the elf queen into a human (which would explain why her granddaughter was shocked when he told her about her grandmother's fate). The queen met a human and they both had a daughter but died when the girl was still young. This girl will be called "The Orphan Queen" who discovered Aravus' plot

I love that Queen Zubeia has the same VA as Princess Celestia. My theory is that after retirement, Celestia fell into a portal to another world (as exist in FiM canon) in the form of a sky dragon, got cozy with Avizandum, and finally achieved queen-hood as the ruler of Zadia.

On the one hand, I'm glad we're getting a backstory on this guy after so long. But on the other hand, I'm not sure if it's a good idea for Aaravos to be the sole cause behind all the world's disasters. Sort of takes away from the interesting idea of "there's fault on all sides" that the show had been going for 🤔

I don’t know how much I believe this fully. I mean, he’s certainly capable and very manipulative. And he definitely offed the sunfire elf queen. But when he got asked why he was imprisoned, he says he doesn’t know. And it sounds so genuine. I guess he could be acting, or maybe it’s genuine bc he doesn’t know how he was found out. Still, I don’t know how much I trust this story after finding out that Sol Regum was a total prick to the humans and would rather they starve and wallow in the dirt than help them.

However, while many humans were good, some were not. One mage discovered a swift and facile to use magic, which was also dangerous, using the essence of magical creatures to unleash incredible power: Dark magic. Dark mages and their followers began to hunt and poach magical creatures throughout Xadia, including many different components of their bodies. The most sought-after became the horn of the unicorn, leading to the extinction of the creature as a whole. Disgusted and outraged by what they saw, the elves and dragons agreed that humans had to be annihilated"(expanded prologue Book 1 novelization) so this is stated by Aravos who could be lying but we do not know for sure would you want to help them if if the last group who did so were hunted to extinction
