A good man but he keeps the Christian under the law with his insisting that you need to DO THIS AND DO THAT ETC. Your responsibility is not to change the culture. Christianity has never changed the culture because that is not the intent of the Church. Matthew 7:13-14 should inform you that the unsaved culture will never be affected by Christians. His ministry keeps the hearer under law. He raises large sums of money this way because he is such a good speaker, but he is in doctrinal error here. He will never change American culture with all his programs and efforts to raise money to put into these programs. He is very skillful in his presentations. He rarely teaches biblical doctrines. When biblical doctrine is preached you get to the root of what the bible actually says not just being a great speaker. Influence needs to be biblically doctrinal not just the ability to talk. Allen is great with words, and it is easy to see why he is so popular, but he is careful to stay away from doctrine.
@m34mimi3 ай бұрын
@@bobwood5146I politely disagree with your proclamation that Christians will never change the culture. If that were true then Jesus would not have called out to Paul on his traveling to Damascus, saying to him: ‘Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?’ That life changing experience for Jewish Saul became his life’s journey of altering current first century culture to believing in Jesus Christ crucified on the cross and preaching to all who had ears to ear the new gospel of grace! We Christians no longer lived under the Judaic laws but were redeemed by the gospel of grace! Christ’s free gift of salvation via his shed blood on the cross redeemed us and created a new culture in which we choose to live for Christ! That empowers us to DO many things that have changed the world. Slavery was altered by one Christian man who stood up against it! In our current 21st century culture we Christians are called to speak up against murder (one of the ten moral laws from Moses) and that changed current culture. We are to respect all human life bc we are made in the image of God and that includes IN THE WOMB! That stand you cried being under the law bc we choose to follow Christ and do His Will verses our own does not place us under the law, but rather liberates us by God’s grace at Christ’s expense! We are free to serve Christ with all honor to Him. I live for that kind of ‘doing’ and believe you have misunderstood what Pastor Allen is calling us to DO!
@Ezekiel336-163 ай бұрын
Jesus' brothers, sister, and mother are those who know the Father's will and DO it. That's not living under the law of wrath that the Lord spoke about through Saint Paul, but being freed from our unholy desires and compulsion towards sin so we may live out the freedom from condemnation that Christ win for those who now live for Him (and do so with the holiness that our new divine nature with Him provides). That's why we must be DOERS and not hearers only if we've been truly saved and born a new with Christ Jesus.

We can vote for the lessor of two evils at least! Every candidate is a sinner, just like us all. But people can change & people can choose to do what's best & right for the citizens, even though they're a sinner. Or even though they did some wicked things in their life. Honestly, with so many churches compromising today I have had a very difficult time finding a church near me that is Biblically Sound and uncompromising in the Word or who they follow as far being loyal to Jesus and having faith in what he did at the cross and that by his shed blood we are saved. Unfortunately many churches today have woman as pastors, have pastors who according to the scriptures that describe what a pastor should be nature wise do not fit the description, they bring false doctrine and practices from other religions that are not Biblical. For now my only Church is watching Grace Community, Pastor John McArthur. I think judgement has to start at the house of God in order for us to be more in the world. I am hoping down the line I will be able to find a house of worship who is not compromised so I can play a role in making a difference. For now I implore any Christians out there to get out and vote. Not voting is a vote for the evil to continue and it will only get worse. We have one party wanting to restore American Values and one who pushes Communism, Transgender issues, Story time with Cross dressers reading to your children. We need Trump back!

Why do you look to the government to do what Christians are told to do? And is the end goal to restore this country to "American values"?

Politics mean “public Life”. Christians are in the public. We don’t remove ourselves from the world. VOTE!!!! Look at the platforms our leaders present. We are not looking for pastors in politics. But pastors woefully don’t engage their congregation on public life as Christians

Great discussion between two of my favorite personalities that represent the True Bible teaching church and a True Believer who digs into difficult situations to defend and promote our Biblical beliefs. I think there are many Pastors/ ministers who are afraid to teach current events and eschatology because they don’t want to paint themselves into a corner relative to Jesus returning in the Rapture. We all have a cross to pick up daily and we must do so !! 🙏🏻✝️❤️

In my opinion, too many Christians are playing at ‘church.’

Yep. Colin over on Fight for Truth KZbin channel did a video 2 years ago called Most Christians are not real Christians. And yes most that say they are Christians are fakes.

There is a thin line to all this too. I’ve been to church as where the pastor went over the voting ballot in 2020 and told you how to fill it out for a certain candidate. I’ve also been to many churches where Jesus wasn’t mentioned the Holy Spirit was mentioned and maybe1 verse read. Churches where they where no more than an hour long counseling session. I always look for a bible focused church and nowadays they are hard to find.

Some disagreements are worth setting aside and standing together. Some things are worth dividing over.

God's led me to push for biblical worldview to be preached from the pulpit. In Prayer, I reached out to our elders and praise God It's having the ripple effect. People are waking up. God be glorified and lifted up. 🙏

What a pleasant aroma as opposed to the many DEI pastors who preach from week to weak, or is that from weak to weak as in the blind leading the blind.
