It explicitly states, "an undiagnosed medical condition" poke around on Google. One of the first people woth a similar condition was a beautiful woman who was a nurse. Her face began growing at a rapid rate and she had to work for a traveling carnival because of her appearance. Facial bones grow for your entire life. This rapid rate of growth is, as the family notes, abnormal.

I'm sure many doctors and biologists would be interested in studying their condition. It must be a dominant mutation in a gene that controls collagen production or bone structure or something similar. Maybe something that is already known in the literature. It's a shame they don't go to check it out. The dad must be heterozygous (has one mutated and one normal gene) and the one daughter was lucky to get his normal gene (and of course the normal gene also from her mother). As others have mentioned, it would be interesting to see photos of them at younger age, since they all said that their faces changed. Also, are there any other changes or just their head/face area? The video should have provided more information. They seem happy, and say they are healthy and it hasn't affected their life, but surely they will find it difficult to find partners, and that is a major effect on their lives (although the father obviously managed to find a partner).

What I love is that their village they live in they have peace and acceptance. Ppl adjust and become comfortable around ppl that are different once the initial surprise wares off. It’s human nature to stare at first when taken by surprise to someone who either looks very different or acts differently then everyone else. I say this bc of our son stands out wherever we go. Usually they hear us coming bc of his loud vocal stims. He looks, sounds and acts differently then our norm in society. But, he is accepted at his middle school and where we go to church. He doesn’t turn heads with ppl that have become accustomed to this person that is hard to not notice. It’s almost like ppl get desensitized to him and see him as non threatening. But, going into new public places he is stared at and alarms young children. The parents are often embarrassed and shushed their children. We just smile and keep going. I’m sad that this family experiences ridicule and mocking. Clearly their spirit isn’t broken and have a beautiful bond of love and support. Smart family to be unashamed and teach us all about being comfortable around all kinds of ppl. Xo

My hat goes off to them all for not allowing this to affect any aspect of their lives. What champions.
