As I promised you guys in the JDM video, i have been working on a Honda special for a long time now and finally finished it. Unfortunely, there was only 1 NSX on the track this year :( My favorite Honda this year has to be the white S2000 with supercharger kit... He's been doing some serious lap times in 2021!

It's the more efficient "cheap" Honda, for track : Front engine, RWD, 50/50 balanced and very light. The nsx-r is at the top.

The EG hatches seem to be more popular than the EK's for track use so it's really cool to see some EK hatches out ripping around. Love my 96, even though she's stock (except for wheels/tires)

I drive a 95 Del Sol and seeing it go around the track at 3:53 gives me some hope that I'll be able to drive my del sol down the Nurburgring someday. I just need to fix it up and give it some TLC.

@@wally99szarek they are going to make another 2 seater rwd sports car for less than 40k usd. It’s going to have almost the exact drivetrain and transmission from the current type R as well as an engine that’s based off of the current type R engine. Don’t know if it’s gonna be a coupe or convertible, or how big or heavy it will be, but I am certainly looking forward to it. The integra really let me down but the new type R has been insane. Hopefully it’s more like the later.

@@rabidlorax1650 Yeah the new Integra has the same problem as the Mustang Mach E: might be a pretty cool car as itself but it's not really what the name suggests. The Integra has now basically turned into an ILX, while we wanted a light, compact 2 door coupé.

The legendary King FD2R with the K20A 222HP 8400 RPM engine and lightweight chassis this model beats the hack out of all the other models mentioned above ! Honda claims the body is 50% more rigid than the previous Japan-only DC5 Integra Type R, and the new model features an independent rear suspension rather than the torsion beam configuration used on the latest European Civic Type-R. To save weight, aluminum is used extensively and bonded with adhesive instead of welded.The front brake discs increased from the DC5R’s 300 mm (11.8 in) to 320 mm (12.6 in) are fitted with four pot Brembo calipers. Tire size are now 225/40 R18 Bridgestone Potenza RE070.

I agree from a performance point the fd2 is king... Buttttt the 90s Honda's were more raw and dangerous and for me more fun And part of the original type r ethos was as lightweight as possible... 5 doors doesn't fit with that

Boy do I really appreciate the Honda fanbase sometimes. So much variety in platform choice, I don't see this quite as much with other brands. Definitely was not expecting to see my personal first choice, a 4th gen Accord, in this video! Proud DC5 owner, too. Sadly, no Preludes in here, though.

Del sol tuned to perfection with a engine swap, h23, 24 psi turbo, built for 4-5 runs could do damage. As long as the suspension and weight were distributed right. Gotta factor in all the cornering, wanna stay in the throttle during turns

Just how it goes, nobody can predict what will return to value. Safe bet 20 years ago was that none of these japanese cars would be worth money in the future. 2020 was quite late to sell, though. You'd think you'd have held on.

All great models, but even if I feel that the 1998-2002 honda accord coupe is missing, I think it is a very undervalued model for mass consumption, I love that model because its rear gives it a certain resemblance to the NSX.
