@@ShuBoxInc I have to ask, the springs rates hahaha... Now on the incredibly smooth tracks like Motegi it may not be an issues. But on bumpy tracks, don't you run into issues with "skipping" of the contact patch or simply nit enough compliance to keep the wheels on the ground/traction especially in 2nd or 3rd gear corners? It seems to be a Japanese preference to use ridiculously high spring rates instead of something more reasonable like 20kFront and 12k Rear and then use sway bars to adjust lateral motion as they're supposed to. Maybe I'm just used to poor tracks with lots of bumps and you're spoiled? 😂 It appears you have less lean than an F1 car!
@ontec7139
@ontec7139 3 жыл бұрын
@@brianjewell4139 its almost standard to run double the spring rate in the rear of a dc5/ep3, not just particular to Japan. RTR RSX same case (US car)
@brianjewell4139
@brianjewell4139 3 жыл бұрын
@@ontec7139 Thats good to know thank you. I suppose the cars im seeing are very much street cars that happen to do some TA and open lapping, but not Top Level time attack, and theyre running in the range of 12k to 20k front and 14k to 24k rear, I'm sure at your level of competition having the rear end that stiff and negating any understeer is super important. Thanks for the info, hope to see it dip down into the top FF spot!
