I’ve been applying pomade for the past year and I would just let the grease build up. Is there still a way to de grease it? I just used shampoo like 6 times and nothing.

Wash it, comb it out, let it dry. A day later, like every other day, wash your hair again, same process, comb it out let it dry. Every other hair washings should do it until the greesy kid stuff is completely washed out of your hair, that's all.

If you use oil-base pomades, try water-based pomade on your hair before washing. It worked for me with the first wash. With an ordinary sampoo by the way. 😉

Put olive oil in your hair before applying the conditioner, the oil will actually break the pomade apart then the conditioner will restructure and give your hair a good oily texture

I tried this stuff today for the first time with a two day build-up of Dax Wave and Groom and Pomps Not Dead OG, and it got 95% out, which will most likely come out when I shower in the morning. Don't be shy with this stuff though. Make sure you defiantly use a generous amount. This stuff was three something bucks at my local grocery store and will make using oil-based pomades even more enjoyable, and maybe even everyday go-to's.

Very informative. You can literally find anything on KZbin. I personally degrease every night because I will get acne from the pomade being smeared on my pillow case as I sleep. I get can get by with Groom and Clean. I apply it about 20 minutes before my shower and then let it act as a conditioner and rinse it out. It works great for me by itself, but everybody has different textures of hair. What might work for me might not work for you.

Alright, I put a decent amount in my hair, waited 15 minutes and rinsed it out in my sink and it DID NOT WORK. I have Murray's Super Light pomade in my hair....still. So, what gives? Does anyone have a better alternative that isn't dish soap? Edit: I put some more of this conditioner in my hair for 15 mins, then I went and got in the shower solely to wash my hair WITH shampoo this time and it worked! Next time, I'm gonna try it with regular thick ass Murray's pomade at some point in the near future. Gonna let my scalp air out for a few days, though.

My first time seeing you, nice to see you...Do, you color your hair black? or have you used black pomade/wax and if so how did you like it? I saw a guy that had nice high pomp, pretty close to yours..but I had to ask him about his hair...I use to grease my hair, but wanted a high gloss that shined like glass....back back to the guy...he didnt color, but dark brown..and mine was dark red, natural ..so the grease he chose made him shine like glass..I did not believe what his secret for a shine like that.. before. he is greased, he uses thos color for fun. the color blue was his choice, dark blue, real dark blue....grease up, syhle, and the blue was in here, but so dark you coldt relly see tllll???? that make sense???? in the sun it look like grease shinig, natural highlights, but was the dark bluie color is what you saw...I subscribed to your channel.. take care man.. geeze up when your down....
