I keep doing a dead straight pull left and long. So means I REALLY lose my ball deep and into woods, lakes and other fairways. That must be over the top, clubface square to the path left. What’s my adjustment?

Adjustment is getting your path closer to zero rather than negative (out to in). Hard to say how to accomplish that without seeing your swing

I would say look at the face first. Check your grip and then your back swing to ensure the face isn't too closed.

This is where the separation comes in. Only do this with the driver. Treat it as a "specialist club"
