There was one day I was listening music and knew all lyrics but suddenly I realised that I didn’t memorise Al Quran as much I know much music lyrics. Shak - i have learnt from watching the video that over the years the manner in which people are taught Qur’an has developed in accordance to the peoples ability. Going from just listening and memorising to learning from the initial written Qur’an text to learning from written Qur’an text with tajweed rules. A key factor to reciting Qur’an properly is to learn the correct pronunciation of the individual letters properly. If this initial learning is not correct the recitation from the point onwards won’t be correct. JzakAllah khar for the video

Points learnt: ✓ The "MOST EFFECTIVE" way of memorizing/ being able to recite Quran with proper Tajweed is by listening and imitating ^eg: • The shepherd (who didn't know how to recite) memorized the whole Quran over the period of 7 years just by listening • Back in the time of Prophet PBUH they didn't have printed copies of Quran like we do today & the Sahaba used to memorize it just by listening the ayah's. *Personal Experience: I found it quite true as when we listen some ayah's repeatedly on yt shorts even we automatically memorize it with proper Tajweed and a really nice tone (similar to the reciter) in no time. May Allah put barakah in our knowledge, purify our intentions and help us learn Aameen. From Qawaeed 11 group. Ready to learn!!!
