The Fastest Way to Write Progress Notes

So I have been wanting to explore templates to help with getting notes done faster but I can't think of how to set up a template that I can copy and paste into SimplePractice. Is there any examples?

You can create your own checkbox or dropdown template in Simple Practice using the template builder but you can’t copy/paste a template. Check out the interventions checklist for ideas!

Do you have a specific video describing how to utilize the tablet and smart pencil with Simple Practice EHR? Just purchased an iPad mimi 6 and gen 2pencil … thx Melissa and I’m so grateful for this KZbin channel!!!

No, but you can check with Simple Practice to see if they have some resources! My recommendation is download the app and use the smart pen for checkboxes, etc. I’ve heard that you might have to log in on your browser instead of the app in order to use the writing feature with a smart pen. But I’m no expert on SP.

I am using an ipad with pencil and have Simple Practice as well. I have created a progress note template with check boxes and use it each session. Its great and super efficient. If I can be of any assistance to help you with this let me know.

There has to be the way that I can do my job and not have to write progress notes because I love what I do but I hate progress notes.

You can’t avoid them completely but you can make them faster!

You can outsource someone virtually to write your notes. I do that and they basically sign an nda to ensure that its confidential.
