as muslim fasting is part of the ritual. it is recommended to d try fast from dawn to sun set every Monday and Thursday as well as the whole of ramadan month. your stomach should only be filled to a 3rd of food, a 3rd for drink.

Also, zinc and chromium are minerals that lower blood sugar, thus lowering insulin, thus telling your body to shrink its fat cells. I've been slowing adding both as supplements and have lost fat every time I increase my dosages. It works very well and I'm correcting these deficiencies.

thank you, Dr. Taylor for another insightful lesson. spot on that you mentioned berberine. I started using that as per 1 January, because my cholesterol levels are through the roof! I have hdl and low triglycerides but my ldl is 7.7mmol which is way too high. so I hope taking berberine will help. you mentioned fasting and eating windows. you allow water within the fasting window. but do you also allow tea or water infused with lemon and ginger?? looking forward to your next video. kind regards miss Reimara

Realistically a pure water fast is better. But lemon and ginger isn't going to break a fast too much. No sweeteners though. 💚

Happy New Year to you too Ryan. I started with the Apple Cider Vinegar drink this morning, but no matter how long I blend everything together, the cinnamon does not blend in. It is still powdery to the very end, and whilst I love cinnamon, it ain't that pleasant! Any suggestions?

Hi Steve, yes I know what you mean, it doesn't mix very well. Try adding the cinnamon to a tiny amount of warm water first. Mix it into a paste, and then add the vinegar and mix and then the rest of the water. This can help a little, but I usually just chase it down with some water afterwards. Ceylon cinnamon mixes so much better than most cinnamons that stores sell. I buy mine from Atlantic Spice Company, Cape Cod,Massachusetts. They sell at wholesale prices and they ship right to your door.

Yes oats are inflammatory, choose a protein rich breakfast instead. If you have oats, blood sugars are more likely to crash and make you feel very hungry during your fast, in my experience. 💚

It's very easy to get bioavailable calcium from cheese or milk, but the brand of electrolyte powder I use has a small dose of *calcium lactate*, at a dosage of 75g per scoop. Again, it's very easy to get from the diet, so not as much of a concern: iherb.prf.hn/l/xEeZLaD/

Get off Vegetable oil and things fried in veg oil. Cottonseed, soy, corn, safflower, sunflower, canola, grape seed, rice bran oils should not be consumed or cooked with.

You'll automatically be in a caloric deficit if you address the points here, the only difference is your hunger will go away. Tracking calories promotes binge eating and mental illness for many people sadly. I prefer to fix the root causes of weight gain, rather than putting people on a path to yoyo dieting. 💚

@RyanTaylorNaturalRemedies obesity comes from eating to much sweet and fatty food, and then being a coutch potato. I cut out crisps and other snacks, and ate less, and started my own fitness routine and started to go too the local gym. So yes i agree it's not easy, but every walk around the block burns calories. I lost 19 kilos in 2 months.
