there is another problem that they still haven't solved and no one seems to talk about it. It often happens that the algorithm that allows you to change players during a defensive action does not allow you to choose some, going beyond a player who is further away and not useful in the defense. Even if you change with R and if on the change line there is only one possible choice. If there is only one possible choice, the algorithm will not let you make the switch and you will remain moving R in the direction of the player you need to use until your attempts to switch the player you need are more important of defending yourself from your opponent. (I made some recordings with the overlay controller and it's a shame) Nobody talks about it but it's a very serious gameplay problem

The game will never be ok as long as ea manipulate the results. The game just decides upto which div u will reach.. for example if someone reaches new div the game just decides that ur players will not play good. Meaning, they will move bad, pass bad, dribble bad, shoot bad, overall all the metrics. If u play possession, u will never be able to go forward because of all the press and bad movements from ur player, if u try to play fast, there are just 0 passing options forward, whereas if u are defending ur opponent has multiple options open all the time. Now people may say, its a skill issue. But if I can dribble 2, 3 players on one go, my players should be able to give me some options to pass to, but mostly there is none. And the most frustrating thing is, 80 to 90 percent of the time, the first goal I concede is a lucky goal for my opponent which literally breaks my mentality. I think, if this manipulation happens 10 to 30 percent of the time, one can somewhat take it. But if it happens 95 percent of the time and suddenly game decides u will reach next div... u become superman and reach directly in undefeated run with lots of undeniable help from the game then its just give u that fake sense of satisfaction instead of enjoying the game.

Ok here is my experience so far, keeper movement being nerfed was absolutely class. Cut backs are still just as if not more broken. Finesse has definitely been nerfed but you can still hit some ridiculous shots if you green time it. The new midfield changes can definitely be felt, there is more space especially for the players playing CDM, but I also realized that there are certain matches where it feels exactly like pre patch, where you get pressed and there is no breathing room, whether these matches ended up being like that because the opponents were genuinely good at pressing or because of certain tactics I don’t know but it feels like there’s still something there. 5 backs can still be annoying, but it isn’t as bad as pre patch. The finishing is still absolutely horrendous and that DDA is still there, like players will still mess up things that should be very easy. Players seem to have more drag touches than before which makes no sense. The switching and 2nd man pressing is still broken, switching and/or pressing with someone that is nowhere near the ball that the indicator isn’t even on. Overall a step in the right direction but there is definitely still a lot to work on

The patch is a part of marketing tactics/damage control before christmas sale, so you'd think that gameplay has been changed for better and along with 60-70% discounted price, EA's hoping to reel as much gullible Timmys as they can to finally make a purchase since they know the more you play and stay in the mode, the more likely you'd make another purchase of FC points when in Holiday period and so on and so forth. There are changes for sure but it's minimal, the gameplay design is still poor and their servers are still congested. SO, PLEASE DO NOT FALL INTO THIS TRAP, GUYS.

Making it so the AI is a decent bit worse means that you know have to make actual good keeper movements if not the game no longer saves you and you concede

The update has done nothing for me, I'm still swamped all over the pitch 100% of the time. Passes going to other team they have 6 players around me the whole game, every game. Matching me with div 1 players every single game, I'm div 7, been stuck here for 2 weeks or whatever. Good patch, but overall the game still sucks. I just installed FIFA 18 just see where we are coming from. I have to say it is really fun. Good attacking AI, tacklings feel great, scoring goals is fun. The only thing that i don't like is the first touch.

The goalkeepers had more animations. In FC 24 I always see the same animations. Most shots on goals feels the same. It's crazy how they fckt up many things in the last few years.

People are saying the new goalkeeper movement decreases the skill gap. I say it actually increases, say u move ur keeper to the middle of the goal to predict them shooting far post, before the update, once u stop moving ur goalkeeper he walks back to near post. The striker would usually see that ur goalkeeper is not protecting near post so they shoot there, but the keeper somehow manages to cover that ground to come back and save. Essentially the ai is saving the goal, not you. With the new change there is less room for mistakes and you really have to be confident when moving your keeper when saving a goal and actually pick the smartest decision, therefore increasing the goalkeeping skill gap

I have the same issues like you (and many others) before the patch, even if i'm a passionate UT player for over 10 years now (and a FIFA player for over 20 years) - after the current patch, I was able to win games and out of 30 games, I only loses 4 in sum (with 6 draws and 20 wins, all in rivals). I hope they dont release another patch, who destroys everything again...

I never honestly used GK movement in past FIFA games until FC 24 because I was tired of getting scored on and honestly with the way the AI in this game is I don't see why people want this feature removed. The goalkeeper will sometime not even block the slowest ground ball into the goal But goalkeepers need are more grabbing animations to prevent rebound goals from happening

Hi mate. Love you videos. While watching them, I've got some thoughts about why fifa is bad nowadays. And I never heard about from other content creators. So in my opinion one of the real problem in this game this is fifers/cybers themselves. I don't know how it was in English content, but in my native language, there were a lot of different fifers back in the days. Yeah, fifa 14 was about crosses and fifa 15 hello gervinho, doumbia, musa, emenike, etc. But anyway, everyone play as he wants to play. Tiki-taka, crosses, skillmoves, longshots and all that stuff. But now everyone of them play this game in "right" way. R1, cutbacks and all that shit. And this effect on us. If someone find broken thing then everyone make a lot of videos about that. Like this shitty crosses from corner on the player outside the box and then powershot in fifa 23. And this is hilarious to me. Cuz I'm always propaganda "you should play like YOU really want to play". And I'm fcking swear. In fifa23 I was the only one player who shooting finese. Because EVERYONE this youtuber/streamer/pro says "Ehhh., this is ineffective". But why I shouldn't to shot by player, whom have 95 longshots and 99 curve and he had a freespace??? And I was an elite player, making 14-16 W in WL, so my opponents not some normies. I can write a lot more things, but I think you get my point. And it will be interesting for me to hear your opinion.
