The problem with Miners just switching to AI is that the computers are ASIC’s (Application specific integrated circuits). They would be terribly slow training neural nets. Not just 10’s of percent slower, but 1000’s. Ai hardware uses matrix multiplication (linear algebra) to train the ai. Bitcoin ASIC’s were purpose built to solve the SHA-256 hash function.

I think that, like a lot of people, they are listening to the Fed too much and not thinking about how the Fed is trying to work with the Treasury to inflate away as much as possible, so they need to keep interest rates higher for longer because the rate of price increases is higher than the official rate.

People don’t have money so inflation will go down. Inflated housing values will go down BUT mortgages linked to housing won’t go down. Demand for housing from the rush of illegals will increase but they don’t have tangible, W-2 type jobs. Where I live housing prices are going up because of those coming from New York, Philadelphia etc to escape crime. The immigrants are working for cash. That cash money is being send back to their countries. Etc, etc.

The US dollar is egregiously overvalued, burdened by wartime deficits and persistently high interest rates. US debt is already out of control. Once sovereign nations stop financing the deficit, it's gonna get ugly. China is gradually shifting its reserves toward gold and other assets, while Japan may sell some of its treasuries to counteract the massive devaluation of the yen. Russia is also out of the game, and Saudis are diversifying their holdings. Imagine what happens when they realize Bitcoin is a much safer asset to hold. It is only a matter of time before the US Treasury must rely on market participants seeking yield to finance its bonds. When this occurs, yields will remain elevated, and the national debt will spiral out of control. Imagine a scenario where $1 trillion a year is needed solely for debt servicing. This combined with entitlements will consume the entire budget. Cutting social security entitlements and addressing the excess $3 trillion spent annually to sustain the economy will be impossible challenges. The withdrawal of this kind of stimulus will most likely inflict severe pain in the economy, aka a long lasting recession and currency devaluation until equilibrium is restored. It will happen sooner or later. Maybe slowly over decades like Japan or suddenly like 1929, then a gradual recovery. Pick your poison. It will all be obvious in retrospect.

Bitcoin looks strong anywhere above 40k on the monthly chart. I like the 50.5k area in particular as that's where a regular flat pattern would complete which should be right near a weekly macd 0 line test. Even that would fall short of testing a monthly sma20 test which should bring lots of buyers. There's a ton of technical tailwinds still.
