I am impressed beyond words of the wonderful, brilliant episode!! It touched my heart and soul that these wise, benevolent, intelligent Vulcans took the time to care about us humans, & to act with their hearts, going out of their way to assist & help. If I were to meet up with these wise, wonderful, caring Vulcans, I’d probably want to hug them tight for acting with wise benevolence & kindness!! This is such a great, beautiful episode! I hope that we, as a people, have others, not of our world, out there, guiding us, assisting us, helping us…being kind & caring…

Nice! - And perhaps there's some visual evidence here of another advanced civilisation making contact with the Vulcans. I'd recognise that wall pattern anywhere! ...And... How I miss this era of Trek.

Nicely done! But really had to laugh a bit with the scene of an actual Boiler Room on the Botany Bay! Clever use of the resources on hand, but seriously I don't think the Botany Bay would have gotten very far burning oil for fuel. And I had never noticed any smoke stacks on the Botany Bay either.. :) . But great work, thoroughly enjoyed it and what a twist on Khan's story! Kudos!

Love it! That's a great plasma arc welder effect! Why does the 2nd in command ask for a commander, then usurp his authority by ordering a course change without his approval, tacit or otherwise? Also, you have opened up an interesting possibility of exploring Saavik's relationship with young Spock, re: their mating!
@thefederationfiles89383 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andy. Yes, there was a lot of time and minute detail that went into the plasma cutter EFX. But the results were more than expected. Thanks for continuing to watch.

Andy, after rewatching it several times, I see how the male Vulcan's entrance could be interpreted as being summoned, however the lead female is the commander who was gathering her options and making a decision. It does seem like we could have edited that differently. Thank you for the observation. LLAP

interesting story, good acting, but bad props. at least the reactor on the Botany Bay. I'm pretty sure the wouldn't use bricks and an old furnace lol

For an actor in a fan film she is a better Saavik than Robin Curtis, although I still think Kirstie Alley defined the role

I really like this one. Vulcans should definitely have greenish skin because they have green blood, especially with yellow lipstick (sexy :^) Thank you so much for making this. 1000 times better than Alex Kurtzman's 4 inconsistent seasons of ST:D and ST:P! Excellent story! Qaplah to you and your house! :o)

why are the Vulcan's green?
@thefederationfiles89382 жыл бұрын
Vulcans are actually supposed to have a green tint to their skin. Vulcans also have different blood makeup which is why, when they are injured, they bleed green blood.
