I had a Squier Jaguar for a couple of weeks about two years ago and initially it looked like a pretty nice guitar at a good price. I couldn't tell when I bought because it had those classic threaded saddles but when I really looked at it the whole bridge alignment was out with the fretboard. I took it back and got one of those Fender Mexican 60's lacquer Jaguars instead which was about twice the price but still under $1000 and what a difference. It was flawless and not only that the pickups have that real authentic vintage sound while the Squier sounded more like P-90s. I know you can pay 2K or more for an American Jaguar but Fender Mexican line are no doubt pro quality.

I have this guitar for a week now and i love it. My first mini electric guitar but have owned a short scale acoustic thus the preference. I love the size but perfect as a modding platform in the future. I did spent time polishing the frets, widened the nut slots, intonation etc. after which it played beautifully. My next will be the mini strat. 👍🏼

I bought a mini Strat for my granddaughter a couple years back, and in the few weeks between when I purchased it and gave it to her, I played it all the friggin' time. Was fun to play, and the tuning stability was really not that bad. It's not like you'd be gigging with it. It's just something fun to sit around on the sofa and play with.

I have one of these, got it today. I tuned it up to A standard out of the box, and it plays great honestly. Stays in tune. Frets are a bit rough and I'll fix that eventually but a cool little guitar.

I just bought one this week...almost three years ago I had an accident, my left elbow and two middle tendons are not good. I bought this as an experiment and, believe me, it's better than my therapy was. The short scale takes a minute to get used to but hey, what doesn't. I liked it so much I've joined a band for the first time since my accident three years ago. I'm 57 and have been in bands since I was at school so, uh, it's good for people who wanna get at it but have trigger finger 😂

I think this just might be your first video where I WASN'T like, "OOOH I WANT THAT". But, for some odd reason, I watched the whole darn thing, and kind of dig the lil guitars, maybe a Tele or a Strat mini :) Haven't tried but I saw the Stew Mac mini kits that I almost pulled the trigger on every email they sent during quarantine.

Hi Lando! I have seen both Phil (Know your Gear) and Ryan (60 Cycle Hum), recommend restringing with heavier gauge strings. Either Elevens or Twelves for better tuning and tone. Another good video!

I had a Jazzmaster Classic Vibe & I sold it bc it had too many switches & was way too heavy... These mini Jazzmasters seem pretty cool though. Small scale like a Mustang & much lighter than a Squire Jazzmaster.

Didn't even know these existed. 22.75"" scale length, a little short I think. When you announced it I as hoping for a Mustang scale which I believe is 24".

They work really well tuned up to G or A standard, like you had a capo on 3 or 5. Imo a mustang scale jazzmaster is basically just a jaguar, especially when we're talking about these cheaper squier models with humbuckers. Jags are also 24", tho the body is still the same size as a normal jm i think.

Guitar looks fun to play! 1. Did you use a string action ruler to open the box? 2. Is that an old Discman? Frets can always be fixed. People complain a lot about the guitar quality but these are not expensive guitars.

I wanted to buy this for my gf because she's a total beginner and small in posture. She loves this colour and from your video it sounds not just okay, it sounds good tbh. I'm quite confused by how much hate this cute thing gets. Is it unjustified judgment caused by over expectations for a cheap guitar or is it really unsalvageable? I hope with an upgrade of frets and tuners it can be really good because I don't mind spending a little more but sadly saving up for Classic Vibe or Vintage Modified is impossible right now. Sorry for the long question, thank you.

If you got it from Fleet and it was open they probably rented it out I have been disappointed by what I thought was new in box never opened and it was used. Your thinking why didn't you bring it back? Circumstances too long a story

@@landonbailey I was just getting my jab in at Fleet because of my disappointment in a monitor that I bought there after I asked if they had a unopened box and they reassured me that it was. When I got it home it was obvious that it was used by the scratches on it but the tell tale sign was whoever repackaged it put a 9v adapter of another brand in with it. I didn't bring it back because I needed it right away, I'm sure they would have exchange it but I'm sure it was done intentionally the trust was lost to bad for them the next week I bought a tele from Steve's Music that I was planning to by from Fleet. I always try and support small local business but when they pull that kind of BS that's it.
