Being able to swivel the seat and run mowers and blowers, while looking "forward", is what interests me. Reminds me of the old Versatile tractors.

I've seen these tractors before in the past, though not in person. They're neat machines. I wonder how well it would work with a stump grinder mounted to it having that ability to move the operator station around. The European tractor brands seem to make their machines more versatile than our domestic ones. I always wondered why we never had front-mount PTO's on our own machines so you could mount a snow blower versus cranking your head back while using a 3-point mounted version. The whole point is to see where you're going and the thought of looking behind you while backing up so you can clear snow is an outdated concept. People aren't owls, we're not designed to twist our heads 180 degrees. :)

Versatile and later Ford/New Holland have made bi-directional farm tractors in North America for many years. They are quite handy for a lot of jobs but the main drawback is that it takes more time and effort to change things around than having a dedicated machine for each task as most large scale farmers do. The other thing is there is very little equipment here that is designed to be pushed rather than pulled with the exception of skid steer attachments.

I would love to have one of these. Back in the day there used to be three points on the front of tractors in America (I thought), idk why they would get rid of they. I wish the front could mimic the back!

This is a great answer to comment that I made on a previous TTwT. I was trying to figure out how to mount a 3-point hitch on the front and use the center PTO and you explained how the mid-PTO's didn't rotate as fast as the rear PTO making it impractical for brush hogging operations. This would even eliminate the problem with trying to look over the hood. The only down side is no front -end loader but hey, it just came out. Give a a couple of years and who knows what will be available. Good find!

This is a really neat compact tractor. Really needs a loader which is what made the NH Bi-Directionals so handy. With the New Holland tractors I don't think there was a loader for the "Front" either. My cousin used to have a Versatile BiDi on his farm.

I really like the idea of PTO powered three-point hitch attachments in the front. Front loaders on compacts are not common in Europe so they are more oriented to using a front mount for snow and mowing attachments. Having a rear mounted brush cutter and having to drive over top of everything before cutting it is not a good design. Neither is doing it all in reverse.

I like it. It’s like a ventrac on steroids. I think it would be nice to operate 3 point attachments by turning around the operator station. I had heard the models sold in Italy have an available loader, not sure how true that is.

I had looked at similar tractors and they seem to be extremely versatile and handy. That said, they are not built for old stiff joints, they are very difficult to put on. Yes I said put on because you don't sit on it you climb into if your young enough and limber enough. At 70+ it was extremely difficult to get seated in. I do like front mounted 3 point and pto's.

There's loaders available for these articulated ones as well, but they're mounted in the back and then as show'n you'll turn the seat. They are of course focused on wine growing, but have been shown to be effective for small forestrywork as well because of their pulling power and small footprint.

Totally all in on the articulating platform! Not a skid steer fan. Front 3-point could be very handy and an ergo advantage given modernly recognized tasks for professional landscapers and homesteaders alike. A mini wheel loader, if that makes sense. Ventrac and Bobcat are knocking on the door.

I have run the Versatile 276/ Ford 9030E as a farm utility tractor. After seeing the Antonio Carrerra with the tracks, I hoped they would make a loader for the cab end, like the Versatile bi-directional. It makes viewing the loader and bucket more like that of the Skid Steer having excellent vision. Then the engine end becomes the ballast for the loader. Hopefully the small European manufacturers of this style of bi-directional compacts will offer the cab end loader as it would be quite handy. Or perhaps they could offer a loader for the engine end as well, then the unit could be set up as a multil role unit much like the Huddig industrial unit.

Interesting machine. I had seen this machine featured in a tractor advertisement sometime ago. Quite unique. Seems as those the Europeans have a few more offerings on their machines than here in America. We need to be pushed. Competition and more choices are good for the consumer. I like the fact that Deere finally offers a 3 pt. hitch for the front of some of their machines. Long over due. It certainly could expand the use of more front attachments even a front mount mower if they chose to develop and add that option.

Yeah.... not a Ferrari. Antonio Carraro. Tho I like the green color. You can actually get Carraros in the US in the 100hp and quad-track range. They're used down in Florida on several of the blueberry ... 'vineyards'. I saw some discussion of front loaders, Bonatti makes all the Carraro compatible loaders - worth a look if you have a small tractor because most of the models are actually 3-point systems - turn these little tractors into pocket wheel loaders.

I'm not necessarily interested in articulated steering, but would like all-wheel steering (AWS). I would need a loader and ability to run a brush mower. I would prefer an option of propane rather than diesel power. Every popular brand of tractor available in the United States is the same and hasn't changed in the last 30+ years. It would be nice if John Deere would take a step forward and introduce a 35 hp tractor with AWS and a propane fueled engine.

Entire controls and pedals spinning looks like a lot of things easily breaking. Seems like a good idea but to me it won't age well. so $1000 per ho and +$15,000 for cab so that tractor is $90,000 with no loader ?? Pretty steep, plus who's servicing and getting parts for Ferrari tractors ? $90,000 can go get a real nice comparable Deere , Kubota or TWO mahindras . Haven't shopped new but $90,000 would get a Kubota l6060 with loader and backhoe and maybe have money for a few attachments or the new 75hp Deere (4075r? ) With loader and backhoe I would think.
