You can actually trade feathers with villagers! I found out that, if you talk to the villagers, and if you have feathers in the same colors at the clothes that they are wearing, then they will offer to trade you feathers in another colour. For example, if I have a green feather (can trade up to 3 feathers in one go), and since Beau is wearing green costume, if I talk to him, he will offer me feathers in another color in exchange for my green feathers. It was quite useful and helped me to find some feathers in colors that I couldn't catch. Also, after I got quite a few items from Pave, he asked me for another 3 rainbow feathers, after that, he offered me the rainbow float, which is quite nice too. And how lucky you were able to find rainbow feathers in the air! I couldn't find any.

I played this event for probably 4 hours today, I had a lot of fun. I wanted multiples of 5 event items, and wanted to customize most of them, so getting them all and enough raindow feathers took a long time, but I enjoy every moment of it! Trading feathers with my villagers helped a lot

whatever color feathers you give Pave he gives you that color fesitvale item back but if you give him rainbow feather he gives you rainbow festivale stuff so you could just do rainbow feathers then craft more rainbow feathers and customize your items to whatever color items you want, And if you give pave enough rainbow feather's he'll give you his festivale float

Two things.... when your villager is pestering you it’s because they want to trade feathers! And once you’ve made like 9 exchanges with Pave... you can bring him 3 rainbow feathers for the big gift of a cool “ float”. Worth it!

You can use the feathers you find to recolor the nooks cranny items as well. I had found that one on accident, but it is very similar to some of the other events, in that way too

You can exchange feathers with villagers and if you give 3 of the same feathers 9 times Pave gives you a festivale float, I do recommend doing this!

Pavé is so intense but so fun! I loved the event even though I wish that we could have received more DIY recipes for the actual items aside from the rainbow feathers. I ended up with two Festivale floats, lol What I did was: I got the rainbow set first (9 items) and then after getting the Festivale float, I traded feathers with my villagers to get another item in the same color of the set sold at my Nook’s. I ended up with more rainbow feathers and several different colors of the feathers. The rainbow feathers are needed for customization of the items no matter what color you want.

I actually really liked today’s event! The confetti falling was so pretty! I got two of each of the rainbow items (after you get the festivale float, Pavé will give you the same stuff again if you keep giving him rainbow feathers). I also squealed each time one of my villager’s ran up to me to sprinkle confetti 🥺

also, by the way, there is a Festivale Float, that was not in nooks cranny ever. You have to give a lot of feathers to Pave (sorry I do not know how many but I think it is 10 bundles of 3 for any color) but once give him that he will ask for 3 rainbow feathers if you give him that he will do a full 30-second dance and give you that item! (ITS SO COOL)

You can customise every piece too by using rainbow feathers. You can even customise to rainbow colour which is great. I spent a few hours just collecting feathers so i have a load to make rainbow feathers then i can change my items to whatever i like. I got 3 floats and tons of duplicate items. I loved this event!

It's timelocked in the sense that you can't travel *forward* to the event. Once the event has happened, you can travel *back* all you want.

I didn’t have the event either but then I signed in to my Nintendo account which I’ve never done before on my switch and now I got the event. If you don’t have a Nintendo account you can just sign up for free with an email. Hope this helps! 🙂
