Hi really enjoyed your review… just bought the Sysrock DAB and looking forward to using it… my Bose mini has been ‘Fontastish’ but became unreliable after many years of usage… I look forward to more Festool reviews!

Cheers fella, good review. Need a new radio for when I’m working and have been looking at this one for a while now. Looks a lot smaller than it does online which is good because my previous Makita radio was a bit of a lump

Thanks and great videos nice BOKEH lol. Anyways wondering how it would compare to a Sonos SL ONE. Yah know cause I have to ask.

I don’t know this one! But looks like it’s just a Bluetooth speaker and I bet it’s a better sound But I’m really a radio guy while I’m working so it’s nice this has everything in one package,

Have you oiled your mft or coated it with something? If so what? And how have you found it since coating?
@workshopdojo2 жыл бұрын
Well spotted! I used Osmo ploy x oil, it’s like a oil and wax mix, I made I video on it, problem is it’s not cheap! I think next time I will just use PVA glue watered down. I do think it’s important because the mdf is too exposed, just one spill of liquid and it will swell, just don’t get it in the holes when you seal it or the holes will get tighter. I still protect my mft when I’m using glue or liquid kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmGUcqdqeNZ7pMk

Comparison sound wise to say a sonos one?
@workshopdojo2 жыл бұрын
I think the sonos is better, but I would be keeping my Sonos at home

It’s a shame Festool didn’t make it blue tooth compatible with there new speaker

They're right. There is no "their" there. Is there? Cheers!

I don’t have one of these, is it any good?

I don't understand why anyone would buy a Festool speaker. I thought they were just sold so people would use up faster and therefore buy more Festool batteries. I use a UE boom from a company that actually specializes in speakers It works better than the sysrock in every way. unless of course, you don't have a phone in which case I can't help you unless you want to start buying your saws and other tools from Bose ;-)

It would be if you already have a lot of Festool batteries
