Would love very much to hear the comparison test between this Fezz Titania and your Naim SN3. Thank you for your efforts
@VirtualHiFi11 ай бұрын
I no longer have the Fezz Titania here, but as far as I remember the Titania was more open and wider sounding with overall more analytical sound while the Naim supernait 3 was more lower midrange and bass centric being on the more musical side ;)

@@VirtualHiFiI can hear the analytic quality of this amp.
@martyn_g4 ай бұрын
@@peterborelli3877I heard the amp on the pair of Pylon Jades. Sure, it’s a tad analytical, but I wouldn’t say it’s done that at the cost of musicality. I’m not sitting there, stroking my chin thinking about texture of the guitar strings… I was getting into the groove, laughing out loud. It was fun.

Very good performance, can I run 6550 tubes instead of KT88 with fezz Titania as well?
@VirtualHiFi Жыл бұрын
Thank you ;) Yes you can use 6550. It will automatically adjust to that tubes ;)

@@VirtualHiFi Thanks a lot, meanwhile I came across your tube rolling video of 6550, KT88, KT120 & KT150. Quite versatile amplifier, so I wonder why tube rolling options are not marketed by fezz? In my view 6550 provides some finer resolution in the mids vs. KT88 and KT150 being more powerful. KT120 in my view sounded not as good. How about 6L6GC or EL34L-tubes? I am looking for a tube amp to be paired with my Harbeth SHL5plus and I am not sure if a single ended amp design will provide sufficient power to drive the speaker. I will have to figure our a dealer who is in my area in germany to make an appointment for a listening session. Thanks again, muc appreciated
@VirtualHiFi Жыл бұрын
Your Herbeth will be easily driven with all of those tubes in Push Pull amplifier. I believe Titania is 6550/kt88 minimim and I'd consider 6550 for the richness and analog sound and kt150 for the sheer power and brutality.

Hi, Can I use this Fezz Titania with standard KT88 tubes to pair with Revival Audio Atalante 5 speakers? Would this integrated be able to control these speakers especially the 12" woofer. Thanks
@VirtualHiFi9 ай бұрын
Hi Richard I saw your email thank you. if you don't mind I'll answer here so that maybe others will benefit as well. yes you should be able to run your speaker with any KT88 amp including the Titania. Titania is a very open and energetic amp with nice midrange but it's not on the dense rich side but on the neutral one. it will greatly benefit speakers that are on the neutral to rich side. That being said I don't really know why the KT88 is so popular. the 6550 has way more interesting richer midrange while having slightly less power and the KT150 has way more power authority and slam while maintaining all the tube goodies. So yes if your speakers aren't on a very analytical side Titania is great and looks amazing. But if you want great control and slam go for the KT150. Also if you don't really need tubes and are just looking for great sound consider trying the Fosi or Aiyima amp.

Hey bro, the video is well done, which is better Fezz titania evo or Tsakiridis Aeolos?but what I'm currently planning to buy is Tsakiridis Artemis, which should be better than Aeolos drive. Can you give me some advice, thank you!
@VirtualHiFi10 ай бұрын
Both are great. Titania is more like a transistor - faster tighter and better soundstage. Tsaki is more analogue though with a bit more roundness. Both are great. I like how titania look better though 😂
@邓东强10 ай бұрын
@@VirtualHiFi Yes, the Titania EVO looks prettier, but I'm going to give up both. I've found a better tube amp in the past two days, it's an Allnic T1800 from South Korea, it's also using a 4×EL34, and it feels more driven. I don't know if you've ever used it. The Allnic T2000 uses the KT170 to have better sound and drive, but it is also more expensive. It feels like the girl of my dreams, and I love it so much.
@VirtualHiFi10 ай бұрын
Congrats. It looks great and seems mega legit 😀 good parts and the KT170 should rock. I stopped at kt150 and never had 170s but the bigger the tubes the more authority on the sound so it should be great ;)
@martyn_g5 ай бұрын
@@VirtualHiFiI think the Fezz might sound more transistor v other tube amps. But it’s definitely more tube like compared to other transistor amps. It doesn’t have that over analytical feel, nor the strained hardness to my ears that ss gives me.

What a strange English accent. Can you please tell us how Titania actually drives low efficiency loudspeakers? The opinions are that it is a very powerful and dynamic amplifier with short, fast bass. If so, this is the valve amp exactly for me. Thanks bro🇵🇱
