There’s something about the Witcher games that others just don’t do... from the music, to the fact that Geralt can die and the world won’t be effected as a whole.. it’s YOUR story, you’re not that hero the Gods have chosen.. you’re just a man going through a broken world with a broken past... your only friends slowly going extinct... you’re a dying breed, and that’s what makes it so beautiful, once all of the Witchers die, that’s it, they’re gone for good... the stories make you actually want to partake in them.

this made me cry... My favorite style of game has always been RPG, I have been in contact with video games since I was born. I was born in 2007, the same year The Wicther 1 was released, I remember my father playing and loving the game, I didn't understand much and didn't know how to play, but I already felt a connection with the game, and at least once a day I opened the game just to watch the opening scene of the striga, at that time this was from when I was 3/4 years old until I was 5/6 or so, I remember the release of the witcher 2 too, my uncle bought the collector's edition and it came with a Geralt's statue, but I also didn't get to play because I didn't understand how it worked, I was just a kid. when the witcher 3 was announced my father showed me every trailer that was released, information, videos, and my uncle and I went to a games event here in my country, Brazil. the biggest gaming event in Latin America, BGS (Brazil game show) where we watched an exclusive first-hand gameplay of the game, we won posters and stickers (which I UNFORTUNATELY lost) and the person who gave me the post was one of the developers, he even patted my head hahahaha I don't remember much of it but my uncle told me. like I said I was very young. and in the launch of the game in 2015, when I was 8 years old, I FINALLY I played The Witcher, and since then I haven't stopped. I played all the games, the DLC in their releases, and I beat this game more than 15 times (I lost count of the fifteenth so I don't know how many exactly) and many of these times it was with my father watching me play for most of the time, I even beat the game again a few weeks ago, at least once a year I play the witcher, by the time the first DLC (Hearts of Stone) was released I had already beaten the game 2 or 3 times. Today I'm 2 months and a few days away from turning 18. The Witcher was very important in my life and is to this day extremely important for my personal and professional development, and even a father and son thing as I mentioned earlier. I love this game! the best of all time, and this cover brought me many memories... memories that I will carry with me forever, with great affection.

This song man. It's a shame that the official soundtrack on all the streaming services is so limited.

What do you mean by limited?

This exact same one by malukah exists on amazon music, and there are a lot of other versions ..

He's right at least for Spotify which is what most people use. I have amazon music, never used it once. I did find a 15 minute extended version of the witcher 3 version on SoundCloud with no ads, which I would play all night long many nights.

If this girl doesn't sing in a major movie soundtrack or game then I think we'd have to start a meme movement like the internet did with DiCaprio's long outstanding Oscar

Best soundtrack in a video game in my opinion, and best song. When this song was starting during a play session, i couldnt play anymore... I was just riding Roach slowly watching the mountains and the sea... Beautiful.
