I gotta say this is like being in a mini movie. I can just imagine actually being there. The likeable characters even a likeable villain and all the games and stuff. Even after having seen so many vids of this and with spoilers, I would go if it wasn't so dang expensive!! And call me a dork, I actually feel like I've gone along with people who filmed this and am a little sad when I see folks on the elevator - oops..I mean, transport, to leave. Disney please make this an experience for everyone!

I have to admit that I haven't watched every second of all of this Glactic Starcruiser coverage, I have jumped around, but I have to say, I find it incredibly lame. Everything about this is generic space themed with a few Star Wars characters thrown in and the entire "experience" is just silly. Especially for the ridiculous cost to stay there. It's too bad Universal didn't get the rights to Star Wars. They would have done a much better job with it. After seeing this, I am even more grateful that Disney lost out on anything related to Harry Potter. They would have ruined the entire thing from the movies to the theme park experience..

The shipwide alert was part of the act. When you first enter the hotel, there are directions and a run-down of everything. They show you what a fake emergency looks like and what a real one looks like. :)

The whole show looks like cheap dinner theater, they need some pyro and smoke, they hit the wall with their lightsabers and it doesn't get damaged or leave a mark, meh this aint worth 6k, this should have been a dinner show for like $200 from inside the park like the adventures club or like Hoop de Doo

The whole deal was that her lightsaber would ignite , the effect is alright but apparently it has the integrity of an extended tape measure and is even more fragile so they have to do the switch

Speaking generally, the upper-level stage and the non-diegetic music are the worst parts of the experience (outside, looking in, of course). I understand the need for audience visibility and staging elements though. I don't have a better solution and I do appreciate that they didn't use cameras and screens. But why would you add forefront music to something that's supposed to be completely immersive?? Thank you for the high quality videos! I hope you had time to have fun in between filming and editing.

Maybe I ruin the fun by always watching the mechanics of how things work, but now I see the brilliance of two stormtroopers. You can use these positions for CM's that normally act in a different role here, but who are losing their voice, or not feeling too well that day, but not bad enough to call off. You could use the position as a way to train others, like "welcome aboard, just wear this and watch Lt. Croy, learn his act, see how to improvise and in a month you'll be doing that job" or similar.

Every review I’ve seen says “there’s no time to relax you’re always go go go!” Even for an immersive experience I don’t think it’s very immersive to have every meal interrupted and no relaxation time on something depicted as a “cruise”
