The music in the Elden Beast fight is so beautiful, and such a change from what you hear in the rest of the boss fights. I must've died 20 times before beating him, but the music was so calming and pretty that I never got that angry. Well done to the composer(s)!

I love it when games like this use the main theme in the final fight. When they did it in Elden Ring, it reminded me of the Fatalis fight in Monster Hunter: World. Once you get him down to low health, (which is significantly harder than any boss in Elden Ring and I'll die on that hill), the game's epic main theme starts playing too. Always pumps me up to get through that final push

Your COD videos where you give us life updates and talk about the state of the game will always be my favorite, but getting totally immersed in this was really refreshing. Is anyone else still replaying this game on a daily basis? Cause since COD has been copying and pasting itself for years and removed zombies w/ a good story and EE that keeps players committed to the franchise I've been playing all souls and elden ring for hours at a time. I can play COD for like 2 matches sometimes 1 and be bored of it. Not cause I'm bad, I consistently get kills above a certain amount that's higher than 6. Anyways, the elden ring deserved its spot at GAME OF THE YEAR.

congrats on beating the game! super entertaining series all the way. i know the community is elitist on the subject of sorcery, but it's in the game and it's strong and that's fine. compared to melee builds it is a bit easier, but it still isnt just a cakewalk. that being said, i think people do find melee more entertaining to watch, and it's a bit more skillful, and feels bit more rewarding, but this series was so fun to watch regardless. magic is a great way to get into the game! I hope you do another play through and incorporate more melee or a hybrid build! People shouldn't be asses about builds in a pve game, but at the same time i don't think it's as skillful, so just take it for what it is

Yo Jason, im not sure if you already know this or not, but if you continue the series; everytime you summon your mimic it has unlimited fp, so if you want you can unequip your sword, summon it, and then requip it, that way the mimic will always be casting spells and not trying to slap the bosses or whatever with a wet noodle

There is one ending that I don't think anyone has ever tried to get. Has anyone ever thought about trying to beat the game without starting any quests at all, especially denying Melina and going to the roundtable. The bad side is that you won't be able to spirit tune or raise your weapons above +3, but if you think about it, Melina's quest is completely optional and going to roundtable is optional also. There might be another ending for doing that.
