They were just speaking about how both of masters play fancy, but Magnus (to the Misha’s view) plays even fancier. So there was no bad blood between him and Sergey. I’ll admit, in the manga this battle was intense. But nothing can match the final battle in the Anatoly Karpov arc. Also the introduction for him was more intense than this one, he was way more powerful aswell, but Misha was lucky he spared his life.
