Great video guys! I went to the park for the first time a couple of weeks ago, but sadly half of the coasters were closed, including Icon! I was a bit gutted after travelling all the way from the South but was lucky to get a ride on the Big One at least 😊

It's always sad to reach the end of the season, but it was great last day at the Pleasure Beach. Thank you so much for all your coverage this year. We don't know what we'd do without you. If you want somewhere to visit over the close season, especially for the Sanbrooke Adventures, you might want to have a look at the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. It's grown to be a really big park now and has a dinosaur walkthrough with animatronics and some nice rockwork on the sealion enclosure. They have all sorts of animals: giraffes, rhinos, lions, tigers, Kirk's Dik Diks, and even polar bears! Sadly they haven't got any goats. On selected days at the moment, they have a Lightopia-style event going on, too. They've also got a big Ferris Wheel, but it doesn't operate every day. We only live five minutes away and go every week. We see something different every time and always have a great day. It would be something to cover over Winter. Well what a final day it was. Much warmer than last year’s final day. It was lovely to meet Charlotte in the Cafe opposite Grand National think Shaun must have been on the ride. Thank you for the photo. I did brave Valhalla this year. I didn’t need a change of clothes. Just decent waterproof coat, waterproof trousers and walking boots and I was fine. I was pleased that I went on. No fire square or any fire effects after the big drop though. I got wetter on the rugrats log flume because I didn’t put my waterproof trousers on for that. Also waited an hour for the big one which was painful (the queue not the ride). We did at least 10 or more goes on the blue flyer rollercoaster because my son loves it. The staff member on there was great and remembered us every time! He’s definitely working on the right ride (David who does the squeaky voice for the kids). My son was tall enough for Krusty Krab this year but couldn’t go on due to the maintenance but he got to try Dora which was closed last year. He’s never been on river caves as that’s been shut over a year. Do you know what happening with Eddie Stobart trucks? He’s also never been on that and tiny truckers at Chessington is one of his favourites, so I think he would love it. He loved the train and kept asking if it was Henry or Percy (from Thomas the tank). He was a bit confused when I said it’s Mary Louise because he’s been on Thomas and Rosie and Drayton so I think he thought it must be from Thomas. We only visit BPB once a year even though it’s our nearest park because the annual passes are a bit pricy for just one park. The pizza place in nic land is really good food too. Bit pricy but it is really good pizza and includes drinks. We stayed at the boulevard hotel for 2 nights which was actually really nice. It was better than I expected and would definitely go back there. The food in the hotel was lovely too. Our package included breakfast and 1 dinner. Looking forward to your upcoming Europa Park and Disneyland Paris vlogs.

Loved visiting the Pleasure Beach this year. I loved what they did with the Ghost Train with the new scenes and in Alice in Wonderland with the scenes looking more vibrant. I really hope next year the River Caves will make a comeback! Also it would be interesting to see what will be where Grand Prix was as there's lots of space.

That pathway by river caves is my epicentre of memories for black pool, I clearly remember going on river caves and it blew my mind as a child (I hope it re-opens), I went on a simulator ride for the beast rollercoaster in the USA and then I saw Dragons Lair and it made it impossible for me to see a cooler arcade machine.

At IAAPA there is a new design for Air Race, it has 3-4 groups of planes and each plane has a built in motor to make the flipping much easier with the assist. This new design also has a large capacity so the long lines are almost eliminated, its a great idea! Have you seen it yet Shawn?

Let me rephrase, happy for it to be repainted to make it look nicer and I'm sure they will need to do this anyway as part of the refurb to replace air pipes. They'd be silly not to. I wonder if a colour that doesn't show up grime and rust as easily will be chosen? I just don't like the idea of theming it to vikings because where do you draw the line plus it's the first thing you come to as you enter the park so I don't think it should really have a theme.
