as an Inzektor player, unfortunately, the at 57:12 can't be done because it's on Dragonfly's effect to equip (a once per turn that was already used) however, on Gage's first use of Dragonfly, he could have summoned out nother centipede, used that Centipede's effect for the hornet to pop zektkaliber for another Dragonly summon and also the effect of Zektkaliber to add one inzektor from GY to hand (ideally being a Weavil or a Mantis to special from grave if sent to the GY while equiped because they both equip from the hand by their own effect), getting yet another Dragonfly summon, somewhere in there he should link off any used up centipedes for space (Seraphim Papillion or Invincible Atlas would be great options while under Armour Horn's insect lock), in fact, he should use up his armour horn and link it off as well to remove the insect lock and go for any generic boss monster he wants for game

Gage WAS dead in that game 1, because Lance cannot be activated after damage calculation has started. Since Kalut activates during damage calculation, Gage has left the window where he can legally activate Lance

Kalut can activate before damage calc but not after, means Gage could activate Lance as a chain 4 to Kalut. Not like it matters anyway.

I don't know what you mean here - Lance is a card that modifies attack values, it can be activated in the Damage Step. The whole question was whether the -800 atk was sufficient to prevent lethal, which it was in that case. Gage had certainly lost regardless, though.

Yes, he was gifted an opportunity, but he took advantage of it and sequenced things correctly to maximize his chances of winning. Point still stands.
