“As a well spent day brings happy sleep, so a life well spent brings happy death.” -Leonardo Da Vinci I admire the way Louis has lived his life and I really enjoyed listening to this interview. Also, his absolute class comes through loud and clear as he talks about his love for Thailand and its citizens. I pray/hope his condition improves.🙏

The 300,000 Thais with a U.S. green card are happy to buy a house in my country. Why couldn't the contribution be appreciated BOTH ways? Fair is fair, and RECIPROCITY, bilaterally, in civil and property rights is the only morally correct principle. It would not have harmed any Thai, nor Thailand, if my wife and I had been permitted to buy a small house in her home village on 3 rai of land or less. (Very few Americans would want permanent residency in Thailand, anyway. Only a handful, really, in comparison to the more than 300,000 Thais in the U.S.)

What a guy.. what a story… what a life! I was gripped to every word Louis said. This interview is 4 months old and I watch your vlogs constantly Pete.. and I’m really not sure how this one slipped through my fingers? But it has to be one of the best ones yet. It’s up there with Paul’s interviews for sure! Fascinating tales from a man that’s lived life to the fullest. And such a genuine, compassionate man also. Very a truer word spoken. This guy tells it how it was.. how it is… and how it should be! And fair play to you Pete for getting some of the most amazing stories from some of the most intriguing characters that have lived their lives in Thailand from way back in the day. So they have fantastic insight on what life was like back then. Another brilliant video. Top man 🙏🏻👍🏻👊🏻💪🏻

Everything he said, and the most important thing. He said was it was what he wanted to do in life. And how hes Going Out the way he wants to do it,, in his ife. Hes about 4 and a 1/2 years older than me. I was thinking about it myself. Dying in another country, not dying in my mother country.😊 There are 2 younger brothers in my life and I told them that I'm not going to die in America once i get my social security. I will be looking for a country to die and be buried in,,,,, But I wanna have a great time overseas. Like he is having and laughing. That is a diamond in a rough.😂😂😂😂 Having a great time even though you're dying. That's what it's about. Hats off to the man.😂😂😂😂😂
