These people are old souls. No ways else, would a 17 year old speak so maturely. She first swam At Tokyo Olympics when she was just 14. How does that even work ?

It seems she is an exceptional, once-in-a-generation athlete (which also requires exceptional mentality). The German commentator explained that unlike most other olympic swimmers she was not focussing on swimming from early on. She used to be a promising figure skater, but one day she fell during a competition and STILL won. This disappointed her so much that the next day she quit figure skating and started to focus on swimming instead.

Summer won 4 medals in this (Paris) Olympics (3 gold and 1 silver), and they were all in individual events, not relays. She did participate in a couple of relays, but unfortunately, Canada just does not possess the depth of swimming talent to be able to compete with the likes of the US, Australia, and China in relays.

3 golds 1 silver at just 17, not even hit her peak age as an athlete, hopefully 🤞 she has a great LA & Brisbane games as well, Canada needs to host a summer games, so Summer can retire at the grand old age of 29 on top the world 🌎 first McNeil & Penny, now Summer Canada producing some great female swimmers, 🏊‍♀️ could Summer go on to have a career like the great Ledecky 🤔🤷‍♂️ if she can keep that hunger and the desire to push the pain barrier who knows why not, 😏

That's right. I don't get the hype about the 400m final.. 'the race of the century' etc.., Ledecky has no chance, and Titmus is the clear favorite ahead of McIntosh.
