Keep in mind Lumia will affect your opponent's self damage cards. Could have similar delaying effects against pain warlock in wild, for example. Unsure whether that would be positive or negative in standard 😅

its important to note, murmur being 6 means with 10 mana you can murmur, shudder block, whatever battlecry minnion, then mini shudder, into another battle cry. letting you get that huge burst of whatever battle cry in 1 turn instead of usually needing to be split up in 2-3 turns.

Great content! Decided to get back into Hearthstone a month ago and see what's up, now I'm very excited for the new expansion, and this video does a great job of showcasing all the cards and their potential.

Celestial Aura is most likely going to work like if a buff had been cast on it. So you make a Silverhand recruit, it gets a +9/+9 Blessing of Kings on it, it takes 5 damage and is now 10/5 you make another Silverhand and the stats gets “Silenced” from the minion making it 1/1 then one of them dies, a new +9/+9 buff is cast on the remaining minion.

And while I do like the presentation slides you normally do, I also like this format using the Hearthstone card library because it lets me see the flavor text of each card (you reading the flavor text of the pokemon cards was something I really enjoyed in your pokemon pack opening videos). Missed opportunity for Murmur's flavor text to reference that tiktok of the french cat: "une mûre mûre murmure au mur" (a ripe blackberry murmurs to the wall).

Talgath besides spells, also makes all your minions deal double damage when trading against undamaged minions and the effect is not mirrored like it normally is on these types of cards.

I think if you only have one minion in play, the minion buffed by celestial aura always has health equal to 10. The enemy would have to deal 10 or more damage to it or remove it altogether. It's like the old Lightspawn - if you buff the attack, it does nothing. The card reads "while you have exactly 1 minion in play, its health is 10." That doesn't change if something hits it for 4. That's pretty powerful.

Farseer Nobundo would be interesting in a "From the otherside" deck considering he is a deathrattle. Plus it might be fascinating if he's summoned from either evolve effects or the cheese spell from Gorgonzormu.

Based on convo's in another comment section, Celestial Aura very well may make a minion 'immune' to less than 10 damage. If something hurts it, it takes that damage, it's health drops, state based actions are checked, if it's not killed off for having zero life, it resets to 10. Hard removal would be unaffected. I don't remember exactly when the client does a clean-up check for things like Arcane Missiles, that could be funny/frustrating to watch if it checks after every ping. Assuming it does work the way I think it does, Lumia with it seems like a pretty hilarious wall to put up.

I would love it if You were right but unfortunately most likely it will not work like that simply becouse it would be busted. Sure wording suggests it works that way but sadly Blizzard just sometimes for some reason makes this types of weird descriptions that do not match reality. Example: Octo-masseuse' with 'Always a Bigger Jormungar.

@@kamilnurkowski First off, as I explained, it's really not that broken an interaction. There are a LOT of ways to break through. I also think it's hilarious to suggest something won't work a certain way because it would be 'broken', as if they've never released broken nonsense before. Finally, Octo/Jormun does work as the text suggests; Octo only boosts damage to minions, the math is then done in a way where face doesn't get boosted damage. That's also a totally different scenario from what's happening here so I don't think it's proof of anything. That's a static card effect interacting with an enhancement, this is an aura interacting with minion stats on board.

I actually think Triangulate is pretty good for Asteroids, since an Asteroid will cast when drawn it functions like a draw spell. 2 mana deal 2 to a random enemy and draw a card, and shuffle a net +2 asteroids into your deck

Honestly, pretty excited for this expansion. The cards actually look like a lot of fun, id say there are some really scary ones like Murrmurr the Shaman legendary which I'm concerned about facing, plus there's still last expansion shenanigans which will likely undermine the really fun stuff too much from the new expansion (I hope I'm wrong) Regardless, I love the theme, the art of the cards are amazing and it feel like there's a lot to experiment with in a deck building stand point. Also glad ads might be coming back for this channel, what a mess of a situation hopefully it gets fully resolved soon.

Honestly playing ele shaman, sometimes you need to wait till turn 9 or 10 for your lamplighters to scale. Murmur + 2 lamplighter + Kalimos/Skarr not unrealistic. Playing them turn by turn gives so much time to react.

First thing that strikes me with Murmur is the fact that it's an elemental. Dunno how they'd want to interact with the minions immediately dying, but there's probably something there. Edit: also yeah Quasar is a *mortifying* card if it's built right. I'm not a huge rogue player but I would absolutely play quasar rogue. ...also what happens if you quasar with the new neutral demon 😐

If a Starship gets the same piece twice, does it get the effect twice, or just the stats from the second one? Because if it doubles up on the effect, then two Felfused Batteries and a Shattershard Turret could give a board of *Charge* pirates +4 attack for 5 mana, which basically gives Demon Hunter of all classes an improved Bloodlust.

Am I crazy? Isn’t Lumia just a worse taunt? It does shut down a spell OTK, but other than that it’s just a taunt that lets one attack through per turn. The stat line is pretty crazy though. I would expect a downside from a stat line like that!
