@@shrimp8004No way. This famous musician with a recognizable feature that probably got approached constantly by fans just randomly decided one day to take some DUDE buying chili dogs home with him and gave him free beer? Sounds like a fake story to me but I've honestly heard crazier so .... 🤷♂️

Nice job on the eulogy I think it was very fitting instead of cranking up hardcore ZZ Top songs but rather some peaceful piano music to give us all peace in the somber time of grief and healing from the loss of yet anothet shinning star and yet also a celebration of who Dusty Hill was and for those of us who were lucky enough to have been in his presence ...were really blessed to have done so....Rest in Peace😢 Dusty and I want to ☆Thank You ☆for so many years of great memories from you and the bands 🎉 🎶 🎉music 🎶 🎵 ❤️ ....

One of my favorite side stories of ALL time is when Dusty went to work at DFW airport to be a “regular guy”….how can you not love a guy who was at the pinnacle of Rock & Roll and does that? RIP Dusty. I hope to see you again.

I was born in a farmhouse in Cypress, Texas, and went to Cypress-Fairbanks schools all of my schooldays. I grew up on a farm and in a farming environment because that's what Cypress, Texas used to be. We mostly listened to country music, but we would listen to a rocknroll channel every now and then too. I bought ZZ TOP's very first album, which was appropriately titled, "ZZ TOP'S FIRST ALBUM". I have bought every ZZ TOP album since, but I have never been fortunate enough to go see them LIVE. What a band and what fabulous careers for Billy "The Kid", Dusty, and Frank. R. I. P. DUSTY 🇨🇱 HILL

It's crazy to think that he's been gone for almost 3 years now. Also, crazy that I was sitting in his exact spot for my high school graduation (in '22, same spot, same Ampitheater) pretty close to a year after the fact. I didn't know it until April of '23, when I was surprised with a show. I wasn't a massive fan before, but I am now. I was still studying bass at the time, but I really got into it after that show. I don't know if I absorbed his drive or what, but I remember more of the Top's basslines off the top of my head than I do for almost any other band (other than KISS lol). Some eerie twist of fate, I'll tell you hwat. Thank you for your 5 decades (or less, depending on who you ask) of service, as the thump and time of ZZ Top. You won't be forgotten, Mr. Hill.
