The joke about doom running on any computer is based on original doom being ported and made to run on the most obscure computers out there like calculator and printers. Its basically a meme in the game dev/engineering community that you can make any computer run OG doom.

It does look like that but it didn’t kill so it looks like bayo in ultimate still has those combos that take you to the top blast zone but they don’t kill so it’s aight also it has a bit of startup so it’ll be hard to combo into (god I hope this ages well)

And who says there has to be a face behind the series? I love Sakurai and all he’s done but that’s the reality of business. Miyamoto doesn’t have to make every mario or zelda game either. He may play a role, but it’s ultimately Nintendo’s decision in these things.
